Fazbear Frights #4: Step Closer is the fourth volume of the Fazbear Frights series. Written by Elley Cooper, Kelly Parra, and Andrea Waggener with Scott Cawthon, it was released on July 7, 2020.

Two boys, Jake and Andrew, now possess The Stitchwraith. They have foggy memories, but Andrew is able to remember that he attached his soul to the man that hurt him, and also explains that he was possessing the dog animatronic. After The Stitchwraith accidentally kills another person, Jake theorizes that there is a third person in The Stitchwraith. He begins tracking down the items the Hitchhiker and Andrew infected.
