“Just send in a few strands of hair from your lost pet, and let Fazbear Entertainment do the rest! We use your pet’s DNA to craft a face that looks exactly like your beloved furry friend. The face is then integrated onto an animatronic body to create a loyal pet that will follow you around forever.” |
Fazbear Friendly Face, shorted to simply the Friendly Face, is the titular hybrid animatronic in Friendly Face, the first story of Fazbear Frights 10: Friendly Face.
Physical Appearance[]
Fazbear Friendly Faces are animatronic recreations of deceased pets in which the pet’s face is integrated onto an animatronic body. An example of a Friendly Face used in an advertisement is a robotic orange cat.
Edward’s Friendly Face is meant to be a robotic black cat, but after submitting the wrong black hair the cat body instead has Jack’s stiff, dead powder-white face. It has Jack’s brown eyes, slightly flat nose, thick lips turned up in an unyielding smile, and broad chin. Edward buries his Friendly Face but it escapes, covering itself in mud.
Functionality[]
Fazbear Friendly Faces are meant to be recreations of deceased pets manufactured by Fazbear Entertainment. They are created by first extracting DNA from the pet's hairs submitted by its owner, which is then used to create an accurate recreation of the pet's face. The face is added onto a realistic animatronic body and turned into a loyal pet that will follow its owner around forever.
History[]
While not much is known about Friendly Face itself, it was designed by Fazbear Entertainment for kids or families that had lost a beloved pet and wished it was still with them. Advertised, it was shown how said pet would "live on", the pet that had died or gone missing and wanted to be seen again would have an animatronic body that was accurate to the body of the animal and have an artificial face reminiscent of the pet. The requirements for the artificial pet were the cost to manufacture and a DNA sample of the pet so it could be as accurate as possible. The book also shows that not just pets are able to be remade but people can be too.
