Ellis was the best friend of Tony Becker and Gregory in GGY, the first story from Tales from the Pizzaplex 5: The Bobbiedots Conclusion.
Physical Appearance[]
The tallest boy in their seventh grade class, Ellis is wiry with curly jet black hair, deep green eyes, a normal-looking nose, a square jaw, and dusky skin.
Personality[]
Unlike his best friend Tony. Ellis has no interest in Tony's mysteries or investigations and to the point Tony thinks that he would rag him about it and call them dumb. Ellis may be quite self absorbed as he called himself clever and chose the pen name Boots from Puss in Boots comparing him to be as clever as Puss in Boots. Similar to Rab, Ellis is shown to not have an interest in history as according to Tony, the subject is non-existent to both of them. It could be that Ellis is nonchalant due to him having no lack of interest in anything that Tony is interested in. He is also shown to have no interest in doing his homework immediately and even responded by rolling his eyes to Tony when he asked to brainstorm ideas for their story. This may indicate that Ellis may be procrastinating or he just didn't want to do his homework straight away.
Ellis may have a teasing or sarcastic side by either calling Tony's penname 'Tinkerbell' instead of 'Tarbell' and would say he would call him 'Space Cadet' if Tony keeps thinking to much and agrees with Rab that Tony shouldn't think too much and it may be bad for him that could show that he does have a friendly or concerning nature as he might want Tony as his friend and not want him to keep thinking too much. Tony states that kids like Boots and Rab don't understand the hard lives of people due to them coming from well-off families. Suggesting Boots may either be naive or has less empathy.
Though Ellis is aware of how a story would look interesting as he did grin and state the title for the story that Tony used would get them an A. He might also be unaware that he can hurt people's feelings as he made Tony frustrated when he changed his story.
