Chuck Dinglewood is the story’s deuteragonist and Pete’s brother.

Audrey Dinglewood[]

Audrey Dinglewood is Chuck and Pete’s mother. She divorced Bill and met another man who's her "life coach". She decides to sign the family up as organ donors, despite Pete's disagreement. After almost getting injured multiple times, she insists for Pete to stay home to prevent more injuries. After Pete's death, she and Bill come together to close Pete's room for the last time.

Bill Dinglewood is the divorced father of Pete and Chuck. He is physically described to have a scruffy beard.^[1] Bill divorced Audrey. Ever since, Pete is responsible for watching over Chuck, which he hates. After almost getting injured multiple times, his dad takes him to a fishing trip, where he promises to be more involved in the family. A fishing line almost hits Pete's eye, which ends the trip. After Pete's death, Bill moves back in with Audrey to grieve.

Lucy is Pete's aunt on his father's side. Bill relates to Pete being the brother of Chuck with him being the big brother of Lucy. He seems to be uncomfortable with Lucy's husband.
