Physical Appearance

David is depicted as a little boy with fair skin and brown hair. He has heterochromia with his right eye being blue and his left eye being green. David wears a blue polo shirt, beige shorts and white shoes.

Personality

David was shown to be a gentle and playful kid. Initially, when he was a baby, David seemed to be scared of his father's characters, as shown by how he was scared of Puppet Roxy. Some years later, when Edwin showed him Mimic1, David told him that it was scary, but after a while they became good friends. David is really attached to his first gift; a white tiger plushie.

History

David Sean Murray was born on December 6th as the only child of Edwin and Fiona Murray, owners of Murray Co. and Murray's Costume Manor.

Edwin and Fiona loved David, despite Edwin sometimes skipping some of David's birthdays due to being obsessed with his work. Sometime before David's third birthday, Fiona dies, leaving Edwin alone with David. Due to his loss and not having time to take care of his son, Edwin created an animatronic called Mimic1 for David. At first, David thought it was scary, but Edwin assured him that it could become any character. For unexplained and unexpected reasons, Mimic1 started to mimic and act like the real Fiona, becoming some sort of mother figure to David.

Sadly, on David's fifth or sixth birthday, David tragically dies presumably after getting hit by a car while M1 was supposed to look after him. This led to the creation of Mimic2.

  • There is speculation that David is a spirit and is haunting Murray's Costume Manor, as it is possible to encounter several types of paranormal events during gameplay of Secret of the Mimic.
  • It is also speculated that the White Tiger is a supernatural manifestation of him.
  • It's theorized that William Afton, Henry Emily or even M1 orchestrated the "accident."
  • However, Henry's involvement in David's death is very unlikely as he, unlike William, isn't the kind of person to commit something so evil as to purposely cause death to a child, leaving William and M1 as the two likely suspects.
