Standalone Animatronics[]
Mr. Cupcake[]

“A small, painted-plastic-and-metal cupcake sat on the cabinet's bottom shelf. Bright pink, with googly eyes and two big white teeth, the cupcake, sporting one upright candle, was centered on a small, white plate.” |
Mr. Cupcake, also known as the Cupcake, is an anthropomorphic cupcake who acts as a sidekick to Chica. He has pink frosting, a brown base, two large yellow eyes, buck teeth, a yellow and white candle with an orange vinyl light, a human-like palate, and hidden razor teeth within his jaw. Mr. Cupcake is the first animatronic cupcake. His puppeteer was Brett O'Quinn.
- In Five Nights at Freddy's, Mr. Cupcake appears as a secondary antagonist, almost acting as a rabid dog using his razor-sharp teeth to heavily damage or maul his victim. He is seen periodically throughout the film.
Toy Cupcake[]

Toy Cupcake is a Toy counterpart held by Toy Chica.
Trivia[]
- Mr. Cupcake killing Carl is likely a reference to the most common fan name for Mr. Cupcake, "Carl the Cupcake."
- In an interview with Dawko, Joseph Poliquin revealed that, after emailing Scott Cawthon when he got the role as Carl, Cawthon had mentioned that they can't use the name "Carl" for the Cupcake and is trying to separate the fan name from Mr. Cupcake.
- Some compare the cupcake's functionality in the film to be reminiscent of that of an attack dog for Chica, which calls back to a theory that the former dog of the child who it's believed Afton may have killed is inhabiting the cupcake, which would explain the bond between the cupcake and Chica specifically.
- This, however, is unlikely, as the cupcake is too small to house the body of any type of dog, and there is no evidence in the film to support it.
- From the looks of the film's advertisements, every character has an assigned color, with Mr. Cupcake's being blue.
- It's unknown how Mr. Cupcake is alive despite the fact that no other child was killed. It is assumed that Chica's spirit is linked to both Mr. Cupcake and Chica at the same time, allowing her to temporarily control Mr. Cupcake to attack people.
- This could be further proven by Mr. Cupcake activating to attack Mike after Chica was electrocuted.
