Physical Appearance

Caution Bot is a small yellow robot around Gregory's height. It possesses two glowing eyes and has the "CAUTION WET FLOOR" sign depicting Glamrock Freddy slipping on a wet surface for added emphasis. Two circles with tiny holes on it attached to its head appear to serve as ears and speakers.

Functionality

While its functionality isn't fully known, the Caution Bot was likely designed with the intent to ward off customers from wet or slippery areas. However, since Caution Bot is a service robot, it is implied that it cleans and polishes the wet floor up to prevent customers from slipping and falling.

Role

Security Breach

The Caution Bots appear in groups and only serve as background props that do not play a major role in the game, as they remain stationary. They are mostly found around bigger locations, and sometimes block out-of-order areas. The bots will do nothing but move their body to watch Gregory's movements, but some bots are found deactivated in a few locations.

The first three Caution Bots were found at the Lobby Entrance, surrounding the idle Cleaner Bot.

RUIN

The Caution Bots play a bigger role, as Cassie can deactivate them while wearing the Security Mask. When near the bots, faint noises of a young child screaming can be heard. Deactivating all the bots will open a secret room in Bonnie Bowl containing Glamrock Bonnie's body.

Trivia

• One of the pre-release screenshots depicted a Caution Bot in El Chip's, but it is not there in the final game.
• If Gregory stuns the Caution Bots with the Fazerblaster or Faz Camera, they will spin for a brief while. This will even alert the glamrock animatronics nearby.
• The RUIN DLC's debug mode refers to the Caution Bots as "Caution Bot Souls", implying that Caution Bots do in fact have souls within them.
• Normally, the Caution Bots turn to look at Gregory or Cassie. However, many of the Caution Bots in RUIN instead turn their back to Cassie, and only look at her when the Security Mask is equipped.
• The ears on the Caution Bot are supposed to make the appearance based off of Freddy Fazbear himself.
• There was a Caution Bot at PAX West 2024.
• The Clean-O-Vac from Five Nights at Freddy's: Secret of the Mimic seems to be a predecessor to the Caution Bots, as both have a similar design; especially noticeable when looking at the "head" segment of both.
