This is the list of minor characters in Bunny Call.
List of Minor Characters[]
Zoie[]
- Not what you were looking for? See Zoey (disambiguation).
Zoie is Wanda's best friend. When they were younger, the two loved to go camping, but Wanda didn't enjoy having to be away from her mother and father. Later, Zoie informs Wanda about Camp Etenia.
Marjorie[]
Marjorie is an employee at Camp Etenia. She is a hefty, tanned woman with short, dirty blonde hair and has smile lines etched around her eyes. Marjorie has very white, even teeth. Bob approaches Marjorie to sign up for activities that his family wanted to do. She asks if he wants to sign up for a Bunny Call. Bob agrees.
Darlene[]
Darlene is a woman that Wanda and Bob sit next to during a picnic. She is large with big hair and a big mouth. Bob gets annoyed by how lively and loud she is. She introduces herself and Frank, saying that he forgets how to talk when there's food in front of him. She then comments on how she needs to watch what she eats, as even the simplest foods cause her to gain weight. Bob lets Wanda talk to her while he eats.
Frank[]
- Not what you were looking for? See Frank (disambiguation).
Frank is Darlene's husband. He's small with sandy-brown hair and sunburned ears. When Bob sits down, Frank gives him an unconvincing smile. When Darlene introduces him, he simply lifts his fork and continues eating. Darlene says he forgets how to talk when there's food put in front of him, and despite his eating habits he remains skinny. When he's finished eating, he gleefully talks about the tennis tournament that's starting the next day.
Steven Bell[]
- Not what you were looking for? See Steven (disambiguation) or Bell (disambiguation).
Steven Bell is a father that Bob meets near the campfire. He's balding with a big gut. When Bob complains about the mosquitos hanging around the fire, Steven comments that he thinks they build up a tolerance to the smoke in places like Camp Etenia. He then dismisses that theory, explaining that females only live up to fifty days while males live for ten. Bob jokes that the females and babies never leave the males alone, and Steven agrees, gesturing towards his two pretty blonde daughters that Bob assumes are thirteen and fourteen. Steven says that they worry him to death, and while fatherhood isn't easy it is fun.
Phillip[]
Phillip is a father Bob sees smoking outside at the playground area. He has a thick head of light-colored hair and seemingly blue eyes.
When Bob approaches him, they shine lights at their faces and introduce themselves. After shaking hands and finishing his cigarette, Phillip asks if Bob signed up for the Bunny Call as well, which he regrets. When Bob reveals the time, he asks why time doesn't crawl when things are going right. After sitting in silence listening to the wind, Bob tells Phillip a story of when he accidentally broke all of his mother's teacups, and how he felt that signing up for the Bunny Call was a similar mistake. Then, the two hear a loud half-baying, half-yelping cry. Phillip tells Bob that his mother died when he was five, and how he hardly remembers her. He does remember how great his father was, throwing him a ball, showing him what he was working on when he repaired things, and reading him stories at night. Once Phillip's mother died, his father became lost in grief, not doing anything for Phillip and focusing on himself. His father became horrid, and now Phillip says he's become just like him. Before Bob can respond, Phillip walks away.
Evan[]
- Not what you were looking for? See Evan (disambiguation).
Evan is the owner of Camp Etenia. He's a tall, tanned man with a beard.
Evan was present at both the picnic and the campfire, and the next day at breakfast he directs everyone's attention towards the staff table, where he gives a few announcements. First, he addresses the Bunny Call, which he explains couldn't be done that morning because the counselor who usually does them overslept, meaning Ralpho was unable to make his rounds. Bob stares at Evan upon hearing this.
Unnamed Counselor[]
An unnamed counselor helps Bob find where to sign up for activities. She had blonde hair put into a ponytail and blue eyes. Bob gets annoyed when she repeatedly blows a whistle at him despite how little distance there is between them.
Unnamed Clown[]
An unnamed clown works at Camo Etenia. A group of toddlers gather around the clown as it painted a redheaded girl's face. Cindy excitedly jumps around asking to have her face painted like a bumblebee. Bob hates clowns.
Unnamed Camp Employee[]
An unnamed camp employee works as a chef at Camp Etenia. He is skinny with a narrow, flushed face. Bob smells charred food and sees flames far too high in the air, and questions if he really knows what he's doing.
