“You may now interface with the breaker control box. Using the interface may disrupt nearby electronics. If you feel that you are in danger, feel free to disconnect the interface temporarily, until it is safe to reconnect.” |
The Breaker Control Box interface is a device that was used just once on Night 2 in Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location. It has similar functions to the Maintenance Panel from Five Nights at Freddy's 3.
Gameplay[]
Usage[]
It makes its first appearance when HandUnit fails to reboot the power, thus assigning the player to manually reset every breaker in Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rental. Oddly, this one shares the same model as the monitor in the Private Room.
The Breaker Control Box interface has one sole function, namely to reset the breakers across the building. Each breaker takes approximately five seconds to reboot. There are eight breakers that must be rebooted - Circus Control, Circus Gallery, Funtime Auditorium, Ballora Gallery, Parts & Service, the Elevator, and two areas from Five Nights at Freddy's 4 labelled "Obsv.1" and "Obsv.2".
Map[]
The Breaker Panel's map reveals that Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rental, as the underground location, is found deep under the neighborhood area where the Crying Child's house, Fredbear's Family Diner, the Bedroom (from the fourth game's main gameplay), and Plushtrap's house were located, revealing that they were separated locations:
- Circus Gallery is connected to Fredbear's Family Diner.
- Private Room is connected to the fourth game's main house.
- Ballora's Gallery is connected to the Plushtrap's hallway.
Interestingly, the fourth game's end-of-night minigame area and the Bedroom are labeled as "Obsv. 1" and "Obsv. 2", respectively. On Night 5, entering the code "1-9-8-3" in the keypad found in the Private Room will cause the monitors to show different views of the Bedroom, Bed, and the Hallway. This suggests that the events of the fourth game were being monitored by someone, and may even go as far as implying that some parts of the fourth game were reality rather than a dream. Whether the nightmare animatronics and Plushtrap exist is debated. Also found in the Private Room, is a Fredbear plush holding what appears to be a walkie-talkie. This plush looks very similar, if not, identical to the Fredbear plush seen in the fourth game's end-of-night minigames that talks to the child. This may suggest that there could have been a built in walkie-talkie in the plush, and someone communicated through it to influence the child to do certain things, thus leading to his death, not because of any paranormal reason.
As the white square-shaped dots presumably represent child victims, the gray square dots from the Breaker Panel's monitor represent where the animatronics are located:
Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rental contains 4 dots -
- Ballora appearing in her Gallery from the left.
- Funtime Freddy appearing in the Breaker Room from the far left. Though the Breaker Room is likely where Funtime Freddy appear during Night 2 rather than in the Funtime Auditorium or Parts/Service.
- Funtime Foxy appearing in the Funtime Auditorium from the right.
- Circus Baby appearing in the Circus Gallery from up north.
Fredbear's Family Diner from the fourth game's end-of-night minigames contain 2 dots:
- Fredbear
- Spring Bonnie
The House from the fourth game's main gameplay contains 5 dots:
- Nightmare Bonnie appearing at the left side from the Left Hall.
- Nightmare Foxy appearing at the right side from the Right Hall.
- Nightmare Chica appearing in the small square on the top right, which is set in the exact same spot the kitchen was in the FNaF4 house according to the cheat map. It's worth to note that Nightmare Chica is the only animatronic who can access the kitchen in the fourth game.
- Nightmare Freddy appearing next to the buttom centre square from the bottom center of the layout.
The Hallway from the fourth game has 5 dots:
- Plushtrap appearing at the top of the straight hall.
- As for the other four dots, it is unknown why they exist in the map-layout for the Hallway, although these could possibly be other animatronics that never appear physically in the fourth game (one of them could possibly be Nightmare Balloon Boy). In Help Wanted, the Minireenas can be rarely seen during the "Fun with Plushtrap" segment of the Dark Rooms mode, implying that the Minireenas has transferred from Ballora's Gallery to the Hallway, thanks to the vent path that connect between both areas.
Trivia[]
- Oddly, the Maintenance Panel in this game shares the same model as the monitor from the Private Room. This may have either been an oversight by Scott Cawthon, or he didn't have enough time to make a separate model.
- That being said, this is the first and only monitor/maintenance panel to share the same model in one game.
- The Elevator is mistakenly referred to as "Elevators" by the interface. However, this may imply that more than one is in use.
- In Help Wanted, it was revealed that there is another elevator for the technicians. It was said by HandUnit that the technician is not worthy to use the better elevator in Sister Location.
