Plot[]
Abe's recent promotion at the Mega Pizzaplex had allowed him to to live in the Fazplex Tower, but when no rooms were available he tricked his way into an off-limits apartment. It was much better than the pile of tires in Roxy Raceway he called home, and even came with Olive, Rose, and Gemini, holograms called the Bobbiedots that took care of his needs. However, when strange things began occurring they blamed it on the gen1 Bobbiedots living in the ceiling crawl space. They couldn’t be turned off and still tried to help, even if they ended up causing more harm. Abe has already nearly been boiled alive and almost caught his hand in the garbage disposal. Lately, Abe has begun to doubt the gen1s were real.
Abe tries to find out if the gen1s actually exist. When he goes to leave, he learns that Olive has initiated the bedroom lock on his door, claiming it's for his protection. At 7:00 p.m., Abe looks through the Pizzaplex's database of animatronics but only finds an entry for the holographic Bobbiedots. Abe knows that Fazbear Entertainment doesn't always keep records of animatronic failures, so he decides to make his way through the official storage floor of the Pizzaplex and the utilidors to the sewers, a graveyard of damaged and discarded animatronics, such as a damaged Glamrock Chica. Abe dodges wandering endoskeletons and damaged animatronics until well after midnight, but doesn’t find any gen1s. As he’s leaving, he finds a Mr. Hippo and a Mr. Hippo magnet next to him. Remembering that they were recalled for being strong enough to short out electronics, he decides to take it with him.
That night, Abe gets up at 2:00 a.m. and uses the Mr. Hippo magnet to override the lock. Abe tries making his way to the main terminal near the kitchen in order to monitor the Bobbiedot’s activity while they’re dormant, but he hears noises and hides as the trapdoor opens. Long black cables drop from it and trail through the apartment. He looks back at the terminal to see Rose’s gen1 counterpart, Three, there. She begins to move towards him but goes towards a wall socket instead and begins feeling around it, and Abe concludes that she’s blind. He exhales in relief but this alerts Three and she screams before charging at him. Abe returns to his room and Three retreats.
The next night, Abe sees Gemini’s counterpart, One. Abe thinks she’s blind and watches her enter the kitchen and feel around, as if looking for something or setting traps. Abe accidentally alerts her and she tries to grab him. Abe dodges but One blocks his path to the bedroom, so he hides in his office. Sometime later he tries returning to the bedroom and he nearly walks into One. She screams and grabs Abe’s ankle, and he breaks free only to be grabbed by Two, Olive's gen1 counterpart. The TV suddenly turns on and One yanks the TV off the wall and slams it into Abe’s coffee table, sending shattered glass everywhere. The Bobbiedots appear and Abe has Gemini play loud rock music so he can escape.
Abe bandages himself up and returns to work the next day. Despite the pain he’s in, he still has to fix a rotating birthday cake at the fifth hole of Monty’s Gator Golf. Once finished he goes to the atrium for a slice of pizza and visits Rockstar Row. There he meets Sasha, a social worker who works with troubled kids. A coworker wants to bring the kids to the Pizzaplex, and while Sasha’s a Freddy fangirl, she doesn’t know if the animatronic’s behavior would be good for them. They play Skee-Ball and pinball together, and at seven o’clock they meet at a Chinese restaurant for a date. Abe tells Sasha that he lives at the Fazplex Tower and has holographic helpers, and agrees to have a second date there.
A few days later, Abe uses supplies from the Pizzaplex’s maintenance department to install a padlock to the trapdoor. The Bobbiedots praise him for doing so, and they help him make a nice meal and clean up the debris in his apartment. When Sasha arrives, he introduces her to the Bobbiedots. They end the date with a kiss. Later, after bowling at Bonnie Bowl, Abe takes Sasha to a park and tells her everything that’s happened in the apartment, how he got in, and why he was so desperate to get in. Based on her experience with the kids she’s worked with, she suggests that the gen1s may possibly have been mistreated in the past and are acting out. Abe arrives early to work the next day and hacks into the Pizzaplex’s employee database. Landon Prout’s file claims that he’s being treated for delusional paranoid disorder, as he believed everyone and everything in the Pizzaplex was stalking and wanting to kill him. His delusions were directly related to the animatronics. When Abe tries calling a number on Landon’s contact info, a woman says he’s gone.
Sasha decides to stay with Abe overnight to observe the gen1s. She’s done her own research and, based on how Fazbear Entertainment animatronics are programmed, she believes it’s possible they could be reacting to damage Landon potentially did. Abe isn’t sure about the plan since he found the padlock broken that morning, but Sasha insists. At 2:08 a.m., they see all three gen1s roaming the apartment. Sasha and Abe watch as Two disconnects a couple of wires from a plug-in socket, noticing that one of them leads to the apartment door. Sasha tells Abe she thinks they’re trying to help, but she isn’t quiet enough and the gen1s go after them. Abe watches as they approach Sasha only to leave her and go for him instead. He dodges the gen1s, and when he runs past the refrigerator Three’s cables catch it and it starts falling over. The gen1s swarm on top of Abe, but they let Sasha pull him away and back to the bedroom.
Sasha tells Abe that the gen1s are trying to protect him. She explains that the wire Two disconnected was probably a trap to electrify the door. Sasha then explains that the fridge was already falling and Three was trying to stop it, and the gen1s covered Abe to shield him and shove the fridge away. Abe realizes he never saw them sabotaging the apartment, and he was misinterpreting their actions due to their appearance. Abe and Sasha realize that the gen2s are the true enemies, and before they can leave the gen2s lock them in. The apartment starts going haywire, with sparks shooting everywhere and appliances turning on and falling over. Sasha and Abe climb onto a table to get to the gen1s, but the trapdoor won’t budge. Abe grabs a flashlight and a butcher knife as he dodges flying food and dishware, including the rest of the knives. He helps Sasha up as she opens the trapdoor, ignoring the utensils assaulting their bodies, and when Abe tries talking to the Bobbiedots they scream complaints. Eventually it opens and Sasha helps pull Abe up.
The trapdoor slams shut and the gen1s start screaming, but Sasha calms them down. Three has a semi-functioning voicebox and explains that they killed Landon because he was going to burn down the tower. They’re programmed to protect the tenant and the building, with the latter overriding the former. Three also explains that the gen2s in this unit were experimental and programmed differently than other Bobbiedots; these gen2s were programmed to have more confidence and autonomy, giving them a sense of superiority. They think humans are like parasites that upset the balance of things and need to be killed so the AI system can be pure. However, they are still fascinated by humanity, which is why they didn't kill Abe immediately. In order to deactivate the gen2s, Abe needs to initiate a system update and cut the power with a panel in the office.
A pipe in the crawl space bursts open causing the floor to collapse. Abe and Sasha land on the sofa as the apartment begins to flood with electrified water. They use partitions to get to higher ground and they jump across them to reach the main terminal and initiate the system update. The gen2s begin to deconstruct and crash, but the partition leading to the office collapses. Before Abe and Sasha can fall into the electrified waters the gen1s burst out and link each cable to an electronic connection. The gen1s fry the whole system, causing everything to stop and killing both the gen2s and themselves. A wall phone in the kitchen rings and Abe receives a call from maintenance, who has received a flood warning for the unit.
The tower’s administrators are happy that Abe’s unauthorized tenancy had ended up solving the apartment’s Bobbiedots issues, and they decide to let him keep living in it. After the apartment is cleaned and repaired, Sasha moves in with Abe, decorating it with her furniture, artwork, and knickknacks. They’ve also decided to turn the office into a small bedroom for Abe’s mother. Using parts salvaged from the sewer, Abe and Sasha begin to fix the gen1s. Sasha decides to name them after queens: Three is Victoria, One is Elizabeth, and Two is Isabella. The plan is for Abe’s mom to be watched over by the gen1s. Now no longer hiding from his neighbors and living the life he’s always dreamed of, Abe smiles. He knows his mother will love it too.

"I was the first! I have seen everything!"
This section archives a lot of theories and speculation, which usually occurs from pre-release media, or just things that are still unknown, so please keep that in mind while reading. The page will continue to be updated with the most accurate information as more solid evidence is supplied. |
- Sasha tells Abe, "From what I've read about the Fazbear Entertainment animatronics, they're programmed to approximate human behavior." Similarly, the gen1s explain the gen2s' behavior to being an experimental AI. This suggests that the stories take place in a time where AI is so advanced that it can almost perfectly replicate human behavior.
- When Abe finds the Mr. Hippo magnet, he says that they were novelty toys that were recalled because they shorted out electronics. In Security Breach, the magnet is used to scramble a machine.
- The Mr. Hippo animatronic mentioned is most likely the Glamrock Mr. Hippo from the Getaway ending of Security Breach.
