Plot[]
Abe has been a security guard for Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex for a year after several failed online business attempts and dead-end jobs. He’s taught himself incredible tech skills, and he’s currently taking online classes to get a promotion to Team Two leader. With this, he can live in the Fazplex Tower, a forty-story building with the lower twenty floors housing Fazbear corporate offices, the upper filled with high-tech apartments reserved for higher-level positions at the Pizzaplex. Right after getting hired, Abe’s mother was diagnosed with early-onset dementia. Within weeks, the bank foreclosed on the house and now she’s in long-term care at only 43-years-old. Every night for the past two months Abe has sneaked around the Pizzaplex, avoiding security, taking food from dumpsters, sleeping in Roxy Raceway in a makeshift tire hut, and writing his mother daily emails.
One day, Abe is nearly caught finishing up his morning routine by a Pizzaplex Team Leader named Evan. He explains that he has some work to catch up on after leaving early for his kid’s hockey game, and the tower’s apartments now have holographic systems called the Bobbiedots. Two hours into his workday, Abe is called to the administration offices. There, they give him the promotion conditional on him completing one of the certificates needed for the position within the next month. Abe is caught up for the next hour, but he eventually enters the Fazplex Tower administrative office. He’s disappointed to learn that there’s no apartments available, with one empty apartment being off-limits. Abe tricks the receptionist into leaving the counter and changes the apartment’s status to active, although he can’t remove the name Landon Prout from the system.
Abe returns to work as a team leader and leaves around midnight. He makes his way to the twenty-second floor and over to apartment 2217 with no issues. The apartment has nearly twelve feet high ceilings, the bedroom’s upper walls are made of glass, and every other area has short half walls topped by a glass screen. Suddenly, the nearest glass wall, which is actually a see-through computer screen, lights up and a holographic girl with long, hot pink pigtails greets Abe. She introduces herself as Three, the diet and lifestyle Bobbiedot. As Abe explores the apartment, Three follows. In the bathroom he finds hot sauce instead of mouthwash, and when Abe isn’t looking Three’s mouth opens and her head splits down the middle. The rest of her body flickers in and out of view and sparks fly from an electrical socket, but when Abe turns back everything is normal.
The next day, as part of his work responsibility as a team leader, Abe has to train a new employee named Preston. In the West Arcade, he explains the functions of DJ Music Man to Preston, who isn’t a fan. Abe reminds Preston that DJ Music Man’s the creation, they’re the creators, so they’re in charge. As part of Preston’s job, Abe explains, he’ll need to navigate the tunnels DJ Music Man hangs out in and check the generators. As the two take a quick restroom break, Abe hears a scrape and scuffling and he grabs Preston right as DJ Music Man’s hand shoots through the bathroom’s doorway. Abe explains that DJ Music Man is rumored to originally had an experimental bouncer mode, and the programmer missed a few lines of code when removing it.
Abe returns to his apartment with a box of stuff he hid in various spots around the Pizzaplex. Three is joined by two other Bobbiedots. The green one, Two, is in charge of news and information while the blue one, One, is entertainment and media. One points out a glass panel between the sitting area and the kitchen and explains that it’s their main terminal where Abe can input requests as an alternative to speaking with them. An hour later, the three quibble over Abe as they try to help him out with organizing his clothes. Abe learns that the closet is still full of Landon’s clothes, and they fit him well. At dinner, Three begins to cry when Abe cuts her explanation of his dinner short, and to prove he appreciates them he decides to name them. Three is Rose, One is Gemini, and Two is Olive. Abe jokes about shutting them off, and Gemini is quick to say they can’t be. Abe also tries asking about Landon, but the Bobbiedots ignore his questions.
The next day, Abe is about to leave when he hears his neighbors talking about the spa. Since his tenancy in the apartment is unauthorized, he can’t risk being seen, so he stays inside. That’s when he spots a trapdoor on the ceiling between the dining area and sitting area. He tries asking the Bobbiedots what it is, and eventually Gemini says it’s just for maintenance and it’s locked. At work, Abe enters the Pizzaplex’s Fazer Blast arena to fix an alien bot that was saying “Resistance is pizza.” Abe fixes it and he decides to play with the other kids, but he trips and twists his ankle. The Bobbiedots make a big deal out of his swollen ankle and he goes to bed well cared for, but a few hours later he’s woken up by a strange dragging sound. He summons the Bobbiedots but the sound is gone, so he goes to use the bathroom. He can’t help but feel watched, even if he instructed the Bobbiedots to give him privacy, so he asks if they record his movements. They explain they’re aware of his movements but don’t record them, and they’re dormant at night.
The next night, Abe wakes up at 1:00 a.m. to the same noise. He investigates and hears noises above him so he summons the Bobbiedots and asks what the trapdoor is for. They explain that they’re the second-generation Bobbiedots (Gen2s for short); the first generation (Gen1s) were physical animatronics that could move more freely than the gen2s but were limited by their cables, which are plugged into a grid in a crawl space above the ceiling. Rose explains that the gen1s occasionally come out of the crawl space because they still want to help. Later, the garbage disposal turns on while Abe is shoving food in and the jets in the tub start boiling the water while he’s in it. Olive explains that the gen1s cables occasionally interfere with the apartment’s systems, and there’s no system update to fix the glitches.
Later, Abe teaches Preston how to fix a generator in the Pizzaplex day care. Abe explains the day care had a darkness issue, and the cheapest fix was to install five backup generators, and since all the installations were in place the only place that would conceal them was the climbing structures. Abe also explains that the darkness trigger for the Sun animatronic couldn’t be removed when they reprogrammed it to be the day care attendant, and that, combined with the occasional blackouts in the day care, created the Moon side of the attendant. Abe and Preston get the generator fixed, restoring the lights.
Abe’s week went on without any other incident, but when trying to bake cookies on Saturday the burner turns on and the sleeve of his hoodie catches fire. The Bobbiedots explain that the gen1s can mess with their programming. Two days later, Abe is electrocuted by a light switch. Abe considers speaking with the gen1s directly, but the gen2s says the crawl space is locked with a steel plate above it. They theorize that gen1s are envious or think Abe is Landon, but suddenly Abe feels sick and pukes up his sandwich. Abe begins to doubt the Bobbiedots more and more, unsure if the gen1s were real. A week later, Abe starts planning to see if the Bobbiedots are lying. Food poisoning has become a common occurrence, and three days prior he started bringing home takeout. Abe writes a rather untruthful email to his mother before going to sleep, failing to notice the cables making his way through his room. However, he does hear the click of the trapdoor closing.

"I was the first! I have seen everything!"
This section archives a lot of theories and speculation, which usually occurs from pre-release media, or just things that are still unknown, so please keep that in mind while reading. The page will continue to be updated with the most accurate information as more solid evidence is supplied. |
Some events in the story give new information regarding the Pizzaplex in Security Breach.
- The Daycare Attendant was originally an animatronic that performed in a theater.[1] The Sun form was its main form, and the Moon form acted as its evil alter-ego for when the lights in the theater went out. When it was reprogrammed to the Daycare, its performance functions were removed, but its darkness trigger couldn't be removed. This and the occasional blackouts created the Moon side of the attendant, and the cheapest solution was to always keep the lights on in the Daycare.
- The generators were placed inside the Daycare's play structures because after the daycare was built, the only place the generators could be hidden in was in the play structures.[2]
- When DJ Music Man tries to grab Abe and Preston, Abe explains that it was part of an experimental bouncer mode that wasn't completely removed from his behavior.[3] This is a reference to one of the messages found in the game explaining DJ Music Man's features, including his bouncer mode.
- Abe mentions that the music playing in the Fazer Blast arena is "Fazer Blast Jam".[4] In the soundtrack of Security Breach, the music that plays in Fazer Blast is also called "Fazer Blast Jam".
