Blank the Animatronic, or simply just known as Blank, is an attraction animatronic at Candy's Burgers & Fries as well as one of the antagonists of the Five Nights at Candy's series.
Blank was one of the very first popular animatronics established for Candy's Burgers & Fries since 1964, along with Old Candy.[1] After Old Candy's retirement and replacement, Blank continues to remain in service until 1993 when the restaurant closes down.[2]
Physical Description[]
Blank is a fade-colored animatronic covered in drawings and writings done by children with crayons. He has a bald head with a grinning mouth of cubed teeth, thin eyebrows, small endo parts for ears, and gray eyes but no nose. His endoskeleton is completely protected by white plastic suit armor, but not at the feet.
During the first game's events, Blank's suit shows some signs of molding texture. After being attacked by a previous security guard with a wrench in an attempt to destroy him,[3] Blank was left with holes in his chest, right shoulder, and back of his head. He is also missing his eyebrows and half of his left forearm. The workers did their best to repair him but still couldn't locate the missing left hand and part for the back of his head.[3]
Before the attack, Blank can be seen similar to Blank after the attack, but with a clean, fully white, and fixed body, even teeth with no gaps, yellow eyes, black eyebrows, and no shell for his feet, leaving his endo exposed.
In the second game, Blank's withered appearance became drastically worse, with larger holes and deep cuts. Large proportions of the left side of his face were torn off, with his endoskeleton face partly visible. He has a huge rip from the chest down to his pelvis, while the hole on the right side of his chest is bigger. He was missing the suit parts from both shoulders, the left bicep, the right forearm, and the legs from the knee down. While his left forearm was entirely gone, his right hand was ripped off. Children's drawings and writings on his suit were washed off, leaving a more smeared texture.
Functionality[]
Blank was initially created as a life-sized drawing attraction, with his suit armor made of special plastic for children to draw or write on.[3]
