“Killing rats or cockroaches is good, of course. But ridding the world of evil? That's more than pest removal. That's a calling. It's, well, it's heroic!” |
Beatrice Thomas, aka Nurse Thomas, is a major character in The Man in Room 1280, the third story in Fazbear Frights 5: Bunny Call. She is a nice yet simple nurse working in the hospice wing of Heracles Hospital. Beatrice can be considered an antagonist due to her opposition to Arthur and the patient.
Physical Appearance[]
Nurse Thomas is round and sweet looking with curly graying black hair. She’s also described as grandmotherly-looking.
Personality[]
Nurse Thomas is decently nice, but also very simple and rather forgetful. She is very emotional and has a strong love of people, doing things that she deems necessary to help others. Beatrice also loves growing flowers, cooking large dinners, and needlepointing Bible verses. She can be idealistic at times, but when there’s clear signs of danger she’ll face reality.
History[]
Not a lot is known about Nurse Thomas from prior to the events of The Man in Room 1280, but she loves growing flowers, cooking her family large dinners, and needlepointing Bible verses. She became a nurse because she loves people and wishes to server them however she can.
Nurse Thomas joins Nurse Ackerman and Nurse Colton as they watched Arthur Blythe make his way towards the hospital. They feel observed and judged by the evil they believe is in the room, but they don't believe Arthur will understand them until he sees for himself. Nurse Thomas later joins Nurse Ackerman in the break room while Mia Fremont is eating lunch to discuss the evil in the man and how Arthur is insistent on there being good in him. Later, Nurse Thomas joins Nurse Ackerman and Nurse Colton as Arthur writes down letters being written out by the man's finger. She watches in shock as the man spells out FAZBENTERDISCENTER. Arthur concludes the man wants to go to a Distribution Center and asks for a phone book to look up FAZB ENTER, but Nurse Thomas figures out it means Fazbear Entertainment. Now knowing it spells out Fazbear Entertainment Distribution Center, Arthur questions why the location is important to the man and learns he wants to go there. When the nurses say the only place the man can go is hell, all of the monitors go crazy.
The next day, Nurse Thomas meets up with Nurse Ackerman and Nurse Colton in a storage room to discuss their plans for the man. They all agree that the man must be exterminated, and Nurse Ackerman decides that she'll be the one to do it because she's the head nurse. Two days later, Nurse Ackerman acquires the morphine but the plan fails after a shadow child destroys all the vials. Later that night, the three nurses meet up in the cafeteria to discuss the child. They all agree that the shadow is the evil inside the man, and it has somehow gotten out. Nurse Ackerman wants to try again, but Nurse Thomas suggests that she smother the man in room 1280 with a pillow. At home, she does some research and discovers that it takes about three minutes to suffocate someone with a pillow. Using a doll she bought for a niece, she holds a pillow over its head for seven minutes and determines that it would be enough to kill the man.
The next day, Nurse Thomas prays outside of room 1280 before going in and attempting to suffocate the man. The pillow begins to fill with blood, and after six and a half minutes the monitor's steady beeps picked up its pace. A sickly green fluid begins to come from the pillow as well. Suddenly, a shadow darts in front of Nurse Thomas and tears the pillow away. The pillow them ruptures, sending its contents all over the room and Nurse Thomas. As the monitors returned to a steady flatline, Nurse Thomas faints. She's later cleaned off by Nurse Ackerman and Nurse Colton, and stays home sick for days.
