“It bit me!” |
The Baby Crawlers are minor antagonists in Five Nights at Freddy's: The Fourth Closet. They serve as the alternate counterparts of the Bidybabs from Sister Location and one of the mascots at Circus Baby's Pizza.
Physical Appearance[]
The Baby Crawlers are small, baby-like animatronics made of metal with plastic faces painted like clowns and greatly exaggerated features. One has a round, red nose that covers half its face and a white wig of synthetic curls. Another has a molded smile on its face and a painted red grimace. A third, a red-cheeked, smiling clown with a rainbow-colored wig, has a gigantic spring that replaces the middle of its torso, bouncing up and down each time it moves. All of the crawlers have black eyes, with no iris or pupil. They also have two rows of pointy teeth.
History[]
Five Nights at Freddy's: The Fourth Closet[]

A crawler that bit Lisa.
Three different types of Baby Crawlers are first seen in Chapter 12 after Marla and Carlton arrive at Circus Baby's Pizza. They're seen playing on the monkey bars of a jungle gym in the dinning room. The crawlers don't see Carlton and Marla because of the illusionary devices in their ears.
In Chapter 13, Marla and Jessica leads the missing children to the dining room, where two of the Baby Crawlers are still playing on the monkey bars. While they can't see Marla and Jessica due to the devices, they can see the children, as the third manages to bite Alanna. The two on the bars begin to approach Lisa and Ron, and the third corners them. While Marla goes to protect Lisa and Alanna, Jessica picks one up and throws it into a four or five feet deep ball pit. Marla, although hesitant at first, helps. Meanwhile, Carlton encounters a deactivated crawler while crawling through the Hide-and-Seek Hallway.
In Chapter 15, the Baby Crawlers and a variety of other animatronics in various states of disrepair barge into the room where William Afton, Funtime Freddy, Funtime Foxy, and the amalgamation are. Furious over his commands being ignored, William makes his way over to the last missing child, Jacob, and bushes a crawler aside with his foot. When Carlton helps the children's souls inside the amalgamation remember who William really is, the animatronics begin to attack him. One crawler climbs up onto William's back, trashing back and forth. Another holds onto his ankle, chewing at his flesh. In a burst of anger, William flings the crawler from his back. After the amalgamation pulls William into the massive furnace and kills him, the crawlers stop moving, as Michael and the other children's souls have been freed.
