Astrid Eriksen is the main protagonist of Nexie, the first story of the sixth book, and minor character in Tiger Rock, the first story of the seventh book.

Physical Appearance

Astrid is said to look similar to her mother, with blonde hair (although Astrid's is short and messy), bright blue eyes, and an almost doll-like face. She has rosy lips, small eyes, a short mouth, and cheeks that are plump and round. Astrid also inherited her dad's wide forehead and large ears. She is short with a small torso and long arms and legs, making her almost doll-like. Astrid also has pale skin. She wears dresses made by her dad and farfar.

By the end of the story, she has been disfigured grotesquely by Nexie. Her body had been cut apart to fit on top of a larger Endoskeleton, with pieces of her skin sewn together by black stitches. Her skin was now pastely white and dried blood crusted the seems that connected the pieces. Her face was intact, but was now separated from her neck and expanded to cover the large skull. Her blonde hair was now smoothed and flatted over the top of the skull, being held in place by some type of gel. Because of her elongated face, it widened her eyes further and set them further apart, flattening the cheeks and drawing out the mouth.

Personality

Astrid is described as being smart and very talented in school, being able to pass a math and programming competition to earn a scholarship to an expensive private school. she always raises her hands in class, much to the annoyance of most of her classmates. She is also shown to be very confident, as she isn't even phased whenever the school bullies mess with her.
