“They only started to think I was the bad one when they figured out you were the good one.” |
Alec is the protagonist in Lonely Freddy, the second story in Fazbear Frights 2: Fetch. He is a troubled teenage boy who rebels against what's considered good and enjoys being different from everyone else. As Hazel's, tenth birthday arrives, Alec begins plotting against her to expose his younger sister as the spoiled brat he's certain she is.
Physical Appearance[]
Alec is said to be bigger than others his age. He has unruly blond curls, light-green eyes, slightly crooked teeth with braces, and lanky limbs. Alec also has a turned-up nose that he shares with his mother.
Personality[]
Alec enjoys being boundless and living by his own rules, believing that being “bad” is subjective and a construct that can be worked around. He feels that he’s been judged his entire life and prefers his aunt Gigi over his parents since she isn’t constantly trying to “fix” him behind his back, which he finds out through eavesdropping. Alec is deliberate in how he presents himself and uses deflection to hide his true feelings, only showing negative traits and bullying others. This seemingly leads to constant nightmares, which makes him more resentful of others. Only Hazel tends to catch him off-guard, and he is especially mean towards her. Alec coldly dismisses Hazel and constantly tries to find a hidden agenda whenever she tries to get along with him. After seemingly ruining Hazel’s birthday, he breaks down and feels shame.
History[]
Backstory[]
Alec was born on August 18th, and his named was created as a mixture of "Alexander" and "Eric" as his parents couldn't decide a name. In preschool, Alec realized he was bigger than the other kids and used his height to move to the front of lines with ease. The other kids didn't object to the games he dictated and he never had to look for a seat at the lunch table. One day, Alec's preschool teacher pulled him aside and told him he was a bully, which he assumed was positive and smiled at. His teacher gave him a horrified look and walked away, and the expression haunted Alec as he grew older. Alec eventually concluded that others determination of bad behavior was based on comparison to others, and he tried to find what others considered good and bad.
Then, when Alec was five, Hazel was born. Now with someone to compare Alec's behavior to, his parents became stricter and he got away with much less. As a result, Alec began to be more subtle with his behavior and tried acting out when he was by himself. Still, his mother became obsessed with having a "perfect" family and began researching ways to make Alec behave better. While Alec was singled out for being bad, Hazel was constantly showered with attention by their parents for being good, leading to resentment from Alec. When he was ten years old, he overheard his mother and aunt Gigi discussing ways to improve his behavior, with his aunt trying to convince her younger sister that Alec's behavior was normal for his age.
Eventually, Alec's mother began reading books by doctors and enforcing the practices within them on Alec. Using a book titled The Growing Child, his parents let Alec rename himself. He decided to go by Captain Thunder Pants and spent the entire week farting himself around the house, using his new name to justify it. Alec's parents then tried to get him to nurture something by planting a garden, but he instead buried his mother's wedding ring in the soil to see if it would grow more diamonds. They also tried going camping as a family to get back to their "familial core," but when a mosquito gets stuck up Hazel's nose Alec convinces her that it would lay eggs in her nasal passage, turning the camping trip into chaos.
While Alec's parents were concerned with fixing his behavior, Hazel tried to get closer to him. Alec, however, would always coldly dismiss her kind actions as her merely trying to trick him. He became even more jealous of Hazel when she began spending her birthday at Freddy Fazbear's Family Pizzeria, which he never got to do as he lacked friends to justify going. Alec tries to hide his love of Freddy Fazbear's, especially in regards to the Yarg Foxy character, but he eventually learns that Hazel has taken notice.
Lonely Freddy[]
A week before Hazel's tenth birthday, Alec overhears his parents talking after dinner. He learns of a plan between the two based on Chapter Five of The Plan Planner, which Alec's father hasn't bothered to read but is still willing to go along with his wife's plan. Alec is upset to hear they're once again trying to use a book instead of directly communicating with him, so he storms off to the Jack-and-Jill bathroom to ponder over his parents. He's caught off-guard by Hazel, who tries talking to him about their parents and her party, which she claims she doesn't care for. Alec dismisses her remarks, finding them to be obvious lies, and tries going to bed. Later that night, however, Hazel slowly makes her way into him room despite his threats against her. Alec then decides to simply watch Hazel as she sets a book down at the foot of his bed and run away. Alec discovers it's The Plan Planner and reads the fifth chapter, discovering his parents' plan. Alec stays awake for the rest of the night, concluding that Hazel is trying to trick him in some way but he'll play along anyway.
The next day, Alec and Hazel come up with a plan to switch roles for the week. Despite them getting along during the time, Alec comes up with a plan to his own to expose her for being the brat he thinks she is. He thinks if she doesn't get a Yarg Foxy ticket at her party, she would throw a tantrum and act like a brat.
On the day of the party, Alec steals what he believes to be the only Yarg Foxy ticket in a wind tunnel before forcing Hazel to go into it. Hazel comes out with a Yarg Foxy ticket and, infuriated, Alec begins to bully her. Due to the stress, she leaves to go vomit. When she returns, she offers her Yarg Foxy plush to Alec, though he only snatches it, and storms off to the backroom. Angry, he punches a wall and hears a thump on the other side. He decides to go to the storage room to investigate.
In the room, he finds a Lonely Freddy staring at him. Lonely Freddy begins to ask Alec simple questions but slowly, the questions begin to get strange. Lonely Freddy asks about Alec's fears, what he would do if he had to hurt someone he loved, and what his biggest regret is. During this, Alec's mother and sister come into the room, though they leave when they are unable to see Alec in the dark corner of the room.
Thinking he'll be free if he stops staring at Lonely Freddy, Alec closes his eyes, only to find Lonely Freddy gone once he opens them. Closing his eyes again, he slowly gains control over his body and shuffles to the door. He then begins to walk down a hallway, only to be whacked into the arcade area when he gets hit by a door. From there, Alec finds a party room, seeing his family and what appears to be an exact copy of him.
A girl vomits all over him and his parents inform an employee, who tosses Alec into a bucket and takes him to the storage room. Alec realizes that he has become a Lonely Freddy as the employee drops him into a dumpster of silently, screaming Lonely Freddies.
