Physical Appearance

The Adventure Animatronics look like smaller, repaired, cute, and childish versions of animatronics that appeared from the four core series games. Some like Withered Chica, Springtrap, Foxy, etc. seem to be more repaired and in better condition, without neglecting some "withered" characteristics in the respective characters.

Gameplay

The player can select two teams of four animatronics each (eight in total), which can be chosen while out of combat, as well as being able to level up as they gain experience after each combat.

Each animatronic has three different attacks with different effects depending on the color with which they are marked. For example, pink attacks heal, red attacks deal damage to all enemies, yellow attacks deal damage to a single enemy, black attacks insta-kill enemies. But each member of the team will have to wait for their turn to attack, and these can vary. Each Adventure has its own combination of attacks and some share the same.

Only one team can be used at a time during a fight, but the player can switch between one team and another at any time by pressing the Switch button. Even if an animatronic launches a healing attack and alternates between teams in the middle of the process, the other team can benefit from the power.

While out of combat, the player travels the map using Freddy Fazbear, without alteration. At various points in the game, Fredbear will give Freddy information about what happens in the game. When talking to him, the first animatronic in the blue team will be shown.

Trivia

  • According to Scott Cawthon, the reason why he created the FNaF World project, along with the adventure animatronics, is because he became fond of the original animatronics from the horror saga.
  • Nightmare Mangle and the withered variation of Golden Freddy are the only main animatronics from the first four games that are not included in FNaF World.
