| “ | The Ignited Collection is a complete remake of three TJoC games. That includes the original, reborn as well as story mode. They will be remade from the ground up, which means new assets, new gameplay, new everything.
I'm planning on bundling them all into one application and having the player be able to play them in any order they like. The original TJoC as well as Reborn will keep their arcade-like gameplay style, mostly focusing on high-scores instead of an actual solid ending. I will try to make those games replayable and fix many of their flaws. The changes to Story Mode are still not set in stone. But you can expect a lot of difficulty balancing and changes to the story. | ” |

Ignited Collection zostało zapowiedziane, wraz z projektami innych twórców, w poście ogłaszającym Inicjatywe Fazbear Fanverse 22 sierpnia 2020 roku. 23 sierpnia 2020 roku Nikson stworzył własny post na GameJolt, gdzie oznajmił, że będzie otwarcie informował fanów o postępie prac nad produkcją, zamiast pokazywać "tajemnicze zwiastuny lub nudne rendery postaci, z tajemniczym oświetleniem". Obecnie wiadomo, że wszystkie gry będą dostępne w jednej aplikacji z menu wprowadzającym do wybranej produkcji.[1]
29 sierpnia 2020 roku Nikson pokazał na swoim Twitterze 12-sekundowy klip z gameplayu The Joy of Creation.[2] 4 września 2020 roku deweloper zapytał na Twitterze co takiego chcą zobaczyć w odświeżonej wersji The Joy of Creation: Reborn. Potem powiedział, że chce dodać nowe tryby gry takie jak zbieranie przedmiotów, lub uciekanie w jak najkrótszym czasie możliwym.[3] 21 lipca 2022 roku Nikson wrzucił na Twittera filmy, na których pracuje nad nowym modelem Ignited Freddy'ego oraz losową generacją poziomów w The Joy of Creation: Reborn.[4] Nazajutrz pojawił się film, na którym widoczny jest test animacji kabli Ignited Freddy'ego.[5]
30 października 2022 roku Nikson wrzucił zapowiedź z Ignited Freddym, a nazajutrz pojawił się pełny render postaci oraz jak ma ona wyglądać w The Joy of Creation: Ignited Collection.[6] 16 lutego 2023 roku pojawiły się następne rendery tym razem postaci Ignited Bonniego.[7] 2 maja 2023 roku pojawił się render Ignited Chici.[8] 10 lipca 2023 roku Nikson wrzucił następne posty prezentujące gameplay zremake'owanego The Joy of Creation: Story Mode.[9]

- The Joy of Creation: Halloween Edition jest jedyną odsłoną serii, która nie pojawi się w pakiecie.
- Nowe modele Ignited Animatroników zostały stworzone przy użyciu modeli Withered Animatroników jako podstawy.[10]
