• On December 20, 2023, 2 hours after the game's beta release, the game was set to private.
  • Additionally, Scott Cawthon went to Reddit to explain the situation. Stating that the game wasn't intended to be shown to the public yet, as the game was still in its infancy and only in the early testing phases. Scott states, "Apparently there was a huge misunderstanding when I approved a skin, and it was interpreted as RELEASE THE GAME." and that the game will be fixed sometime in 2024.
• The original release featured gameplay similar to the games Dead by Daylight and Piggy, being the 'Infection' mechanic, powerups, and the gameplay.
• It was confirmed in the game's official Discord server that development would be restarted from scratch with new gameplay and assets, and it will be released when it meets a much higher standard.
• YouTuber Lily Gia showcased gameplay of this game from back in September 2022.
• In the December 2023 beta, the only animatronic to get a unique game-exclusive skin is Foxy with the "Grave Digger Foxy" skin.
