If the Classics showed up along side the Witherds as a separate group of spirits with the Toys being yet another group, I think I would be fine with that. Afton IS a serial killer after all. Why not have more victims?

Probably but it like many things isn't confirmed. But Michael being Foxy Bro and Mike Schmidt makes too much sense for it to not be so.

I understand why they did it in the movie, but it doesn't make sense in the main timeline for her to be an Afton. Not unless Mike had a son or grandson named Will, who was also an asshole like his dad.

I think it makes sense for the movie continuity but not the games.

I ask because why would the animatronics change that radically in design from the first movie to the second? Why are they in the FNAF 2 location when technically they should still be in the movie 1 location? Damage from the climax of the first film doesn't explain the radical changes from the Classics to The Witherds.

I think it's unlikely that the Witherds are separate spirits from the originals in the film but it is something to consider.
