@FoxWithIrisesofBlue Seems a bit cringe of them.
Really, that's wild. I really thought 'Scott's not really the best writer' and 'the books being essential lore behind a paywall is bad actually' were fairly reasonable takes.
Elizabeth Afton takes are the ultimate litmus test for FNAF fans.
Is this a hot take at this point? All of this sounds like perfectly reasonable and valid criticism.
Hard to say given it feels like a lot of us figured out the twist with both of them pretty immediately. Maybe Mimic for getting in on it first
Sonic 06, it actively caused Sega to veer away hard from that tone of game for a long time. SB had hiccups but Ruin and HW2 have definitely gone a long way in smoothing over some of that damage.
Damn, the lore runs deep
Polish FNAF be built different from regular FNAF
I thought it was brilliant.
My favourite part was Ralph just being an adorable dad for Copellia. In a series full of bad dads to know Phone Guy wasn't one of them is sweet.
I've been ready for a FNAF game like this for nearly a decade. Gimme those sweet succulent lore drops.
Dabbing Chica: Finally a worthy opponent, our battle will be legendary.
Huh yeah I can see the comparison.
Not too familiar with Scarlet and Violet, what are the issues people have with its gameplay?
Okay so as someone who also thought it was gonna be DLC I'm a little disappointed as well but let's not act like Steel Wool purposefully let us down when they didn't say they were working on DLC or promise anything of the sort. Like that was 100% us the fans projecting there.
@Crystalwaterfall No build-up I agree but no clues is not entirely accurate. There does currently exist enough details between the logbook, the FNAF 4 gameplay, the character encyclopedia, SL's observatory rooms to make a reasonable case for it.
@Crystalwaterfall You're assuming the motive as vengeance or even something CC is consciously doing. As for the argument of character, people are not static and do change especially after traumatic events.
Don't worry I'm not gonna start a flame war that's kind of very much the opposite of what I'm meant to do as a mod. Plus as someone who has watched the discussions of FNAF 4's gameplay since 2015 get more and more complicated I'm in no rush to get stuck in all that again.
Yeah that works.
Honestly, you could theoretically argue a way to have it be both with CC experiencing the actual experiments and then later on his spirit inflicting Michael with nightmares of that experience.
Not really a lot of room for nuance in these choices.
