• there is a black metal ship visible... it looks oddly futuristic.*

• its dead, but the feeling of of more coming is present.*

• the gunshots were what killed it, for sure.. it roars for reinforcements before dying..*

• they can also smell salt in the air, as if they are close to the sea... just a little ways beyond the mountain and they should make it.*
