I was checking out his page and I saw that apparently people shorten it as RXQ, but that makes literally no sense to me. Is that a typo, or do people actually say that? If they do, then how come?

(The reason why REMANT is always in all caps when I type it is because I put in all caps to emphasize it once and now it keeps getting autocorrected)
As you all probably know REMANT is soul infused metal, it what happens when a the essence of soul latches on to an object containing or made of metal. Usually a person needs to die near by it or inside it or be placed inside it after death in order to possess it and make it REMANT but a soul can also be lead to it. REMANT can be portioned out and injected in a heated up liquid form and will retain some of its soul, this can used to bring a little life to other inanimate objects but can also fracture the soul and make it lose some of its memories (as seen in the Fourth Closest). However being heated up to much can destroy the soul within the metal thus making fire an effective weapon against haunted animatronics. It also has a gas form which is seen as glowing colorful orbs that can be any color and are often orbited by small clusters of gas agony (agony can also appear as a black liquid that resembles dark blood) I view this gas form as a visible a version of an incomplete soul outside its metal REMANT its not complete enough to manifest as a recognizable form (as seen in AR). Speaking of that if enough of a soul is outside of its metal shell it can manifest as a form resembling what it looked like in life (as seen in FNAF 3). Animals can also become REMANT since we see possible signs that Susie’s dog is possessing Mr.Cupcake as evident by it very doglike behavior (seen in the movie). But why metal? Well the way metal conducts electricity is similar to how the nervous system works (I got this from the 9 hour FNAF lore video).
So now that you know exactly what REMANT is I will discuss the endless possibilities of this that could be possessed.
Animatronics: We know that animatronics can be possessed obviously and ending up inside of an animatronic is probably one of the best things to possess since it already has the capability to move see and speak to a passable degree. While “living” as a soul in any sort of REMANT seems painful and unpleasant from what we’ve seen being an animatronic is definitely the best metal thing to be.
Cars: People die in car crashes very often unfortunately so it meets the necessary requirements to become possessed (since they would die in side the car) but unfortunately the car would be too destroyed to take advantage of its wheels so you would just have to sit there in pain unable to signal to anyone around you that you’re soul is in the car. But those unfortunate enough to become a car wouldn’t have to suffer to long because the scrap heap of the vehicle they are trapped in would be incinerated which would likely burn of most of the REMANT. But there are other ways to die in a car (that I don’t care to mention) that don’t involve the car being rendered useless so in those cases you’re soul would likely possess the car and be able to control it. This could have very weird results (image car driving after you with no driver angrily blinking its lights at you). Another possibility for the car is a totaled vehicle being able to be form into another shape by a very powerful or angry soul sort like the Afton amalgamation.
Armor and swords: In medieval times people would die in their armor (especially when arrows were introduced) so it’s definitely possible that they would possess these suits of armor and be able to sort of flop around (or float if the soul was angry enough but only angry soul defy the laws of physics). Alternatively the sword that killed them could through some strange means become possessed (though extremely unlikely) it wouldn’t be able to due much but ferociously shake (which would be quite funny).
Rings: Rings are made of metal and a lot people get married and a lot people die while married so it’s possible for their souls to end up in it. They would probably end up at pond shop and get bought by someone else and when they die their soul will end up with the other soul inside and the cycle will repeat.
Computers and other electronic devices. Imagine you die while playing Fortnite you might just become one with the game console. Or you could die while on the computer and posses that. We actually see signs that the souls of the MCI manipulated some arcade games which means that electronics can be messed with by spirts. So technically your ghost would still be able to play the game.
There are probably plenty more scenarios I could come up with that take advantage of REMANT’s properties but I’m tired to think of anymore and it doesn’t matter since none this will ever be important to FNAF but the fact that it can possess animatronics.
Anyways I hope you enjoyed my post on the possible things a fictional substance could my your soul go in.
Bye.
So, first off we need to understands how Remnant works. Remnant, as we know from novels, is human emotions and intentions spread into items. Remnant works through the Zero-Point Field, as we know from Fazbear Frights story "Fetch", where it was talked about it and schools had random number generator, and scholar must think about some number, like 0, and that number will appear more.
In Frights Fazbear Entertainment experimented with Agony, Remnant's dark side. In Tales things such as in Frights happen, and Tales are 100% canon to games, so they most likely experiment with them in games. Now, who will have so much power and influence to hide all that? I only think that the goverment!
Schools know about the Zero-Point Field, so US goverment (since few restaurants were build in USA, and also animatronic pizzeria's are US thing) also knows about them, and also likely Remnant.
MatPat theorized about Ms. Afton getting all rights to the company and logs of Afton's experiments with Remnant and Agony, and trying to use them to rebuild her family. So what if she went to US goverment to help her with her goal in exchange for valuable information which literally breaks fabric of reality, and now Fazbear Entertainment is being used as a front to experiment with Remnant and Agony?
I also think that US goverment uses Glitchtrap virus in order to control Fazbear Entertainment's workers, since few Frights and Tales stories hinted that Fazbear Entertainment workers don't do it at their own, or are forced to do it, such as Gumdrop Angel (I hate that story).
BUT HEY, IT'S JUST A THEORY, A VIDEO-GAME POLITICS CONSPIRACY THEORY!!!!!!

Gregory and Freddy were in this together. For four hours straight, they had defied all odds and survived. They would soon take the offense to Vanny. But first, they required answers, and repairing. As Freddy limped across the dark Atrium floor, Gregory was trying to rush him to make him go faster.
"Hurry up! We can't be seen by Roxy or Monty," Gregory ushered.
"We won't be seen. It is too dark for them to see us. Why the lights are still off, I do not know. Thankfully, everything else is in working order!" Freddy said.
It wasn't long before the duo made it to the Stage lift. Gregory pressed the button to go downward, and the lift began to sink once again, with electric whirring. The elevator made its way to Parts and Service. Then, Freddy and Gregory limped down the hallway. They reached the cylinder, so Freddy could collapse on the chair inside. Gregory walked up to the computer outside of the cylinder, which asked him for a repair.
"What procedure should I run?" Gregory asked.
"Do the Voicebox upgrade, and if there's an option for an Endoskeleton repair, do it," Freddy instructed from inside.
"Okay..." Gregory muttered. On the computer, there was an option for an Endoskeleton repair. However, it took up most of the hour, as Freddy predicted.
"This repair is gonna take about 40 minutes. It's 4:10 right now..." Gregory confirmed Freddy's fears.
"Well... it seems that we are going to have to cover some ground, even while I am out. Can you do me a favor and go to the Bonnie Bowl attraction while I am here? If all goes well, we should be reunited at 5:00," Freddy requested.
"Sure! Also, did you want me to give you the new voicebox now?" Gregory asked.
"Yes. There should be a depository on the back of the cylinder for new parts. Select a combo of the endoskeleton repair and the voicebox upgrade. Then, at 5:00, I will be ready to see you," Freddy confirmed.
"Okay. I'm going to give you the voicebox! Be ready," Gregory said as he just inputted the commands into the computer. The repairs began to start, and Gregory put the voicebox into a chute in the back. Then, he turned to leave Parts and Service.
"Gregory, wait!" Freddy exclaimed. Gregory turned around to look at the bear animatronic one last time before leaving.
"Yes?" he questioned.
"If you find any clue on what happened to Bonnie, tell me. Check the curtain at the bar," Freddy instructed.
"The curtain behind the bar? I will," Gregory confirmed. He ran out of the pair of double doors to go to the Lift.
"Oh..." Freddy sighed. He had lost Bonnie due to an unknown accident, and now he had lost Chica. Freddy knew his friends needed to be properly mourned. He remembered that Bonnie was reportedly last seen outside Monty Golf before going missing. But before they could investigate Monty Golf, they needed another Party Pass. Freddy would begin the search for one as soon as his repairs were over.
"So... it looks like I am the last of the original animatronics," Freddy sighed. He knew he was the last because he had a special purpose. The other animatronics were duds, like Monty and Roxy. But he was special because he was Michael Afton, who had a special mission to defeat his father. How either of them had come back, he knew not. But this needed to end. Fire was the only thing that could break the possession of an animatronic. And if his father was inside of a computer, Freddy guessed they found his old software and somehow utilized it, which corrupted not only them but the computer software. Thats when Freddy came to a realization.
"Wait... so Vanny was the one to bring back my father! She utilized his software, but he possessed her!" Freddy gasped.
If he could immediately end his father, Vanny could be restored to sanity and Monty and Roxy could as well! Freddy thought and thought of a plan. As he was being repaired by the machine, he had all the time in the world. He needed to figure out what happened to Bonnie, and he had to find Afton's stronghold.
"Where would Afton have a stronghold?" Freddy wondered. There were a variety of places he could be hidden. Back at Fazer Blast, he remembered a strange vent with some rabbit graffiti on the inside. There wasn't time to investigate it, but that could be one place. Another place was Roxy Raceway, an attraction that had been closed down for several months after some kind of sinkhole appeared.
"I believe we must investigate Roxy Raceway," Freddy muttered to himself. He had an entire world of possibilities in store for him...
~~~
Gregory was trying to creep through the Atrium. His next stop was Bonnie Bowl, an attraction based on the third floor. He knew that Vanny and the others found Freddy nearly forty minutes ago, but they were undoubtedly on the search for Gregory, because technically, they never found him with Freddy.
"Alright, I need to be careful..." Gregory whispered. He saw no sign of Vanny or Monty, but could spot Roxy in the distance. She was prowling around the middle of the Atrium floor. Roxy's blank eyes with her ajar mouth showed a mindlessly hungry abomination, on the search for her next meal.
"It's been a long time since I caught anyone! Where are you, Gregory?" Roxy called in a menacing tone. Thankfully, Gregory was already creeping up a set of escalators leading up to the third floor. However, when he reached the second floor, he noticed he was in some danger.
"What? You've got to be kidding me!" Gregory exclaimed. The Lobby elevators were blocked off by a multitude of patrolling STAFF Bots.
One of the elevators was taped off with some yellow tape. Gregory guessed it had to be the broken one. The other elevator was in working order, but severely vandalized. Rabbit graffiti and some red spots which appeared to be blood marked the inside. Gregory continued up the next set of escalators and ran down the third floor balcony to get to an attraction at the very end.
"This is Bonnie Bowl, huh?" Gregory wondered aloud. He gave the STAFF bot guard his paper slip, then continued to the elevator. There were two paper posters in the elevator, one on each wall. These were posters of Freddy singing to the audience.
When the elevator reached the top, Gregory stepped out of the lift. The walls were brick on the bottom and metal blue on the top. The floor was made up of red, black, and white tiles. In the middle of the entrance hall was a set of display cases. On the walls were many neon light decorations and paper posters. At the end of the hall was a roll up door.
"Okay, Freddy said to find the curtain by the bar. Hopefully I have enough time to investigate," Gregory said. As of right now, he had about half an hour to investigate Bonnie Bowl and look around.
Past the roll up door was an arcade room, with many game machines scattered across the sides and middle of the room. Through the maze of arcade games, Gregory found the bowling alley. The bowling alley had a beige marble floor. He ran along the many rows of bowling rows before he got to the other side of the attraction. With red and white tiles, and a bar and tables meant for eating, Gregory decided to look for a curtain.
"Wait, is that it?" he whispered to himself. At the end of the bar was a small round stage with a red curtain surrounding it. He pulled back the curtain, and saw a wood stage with a microphone. Behind the stage was a doorway and a short stairwell down to a concrete hallway with white brick walls. Gregory decided to contact Freddy on his FazWatch.
"Freddy! I found the stage. There's some kind of passageway behind," Gregory said.
"Really? I believe you should go down. Bonnie used to stay there, you know. His resting place could provide some clues as to where he went and what his intentions were," Freddy advised. Gregory hopped onto the stage and walked down the green metal stairs through the concrete floor hall. Then, to his right was a short hall with a red door at the end. In the middle of the hall was a gate, but it was unlocked. The tiles of the floor behind the gate were a metal white.
"There's a red door here. I think Bonnie's room is here," Gregory said.
"Go in," Freddy said with confidence. Gregory burst through the door to find a rusted, abandoned room. The layout was much like a room in Rockstar Row. On the left side of the room was a neon Bonnie light and a poster of Bonnie and Freddy with a message from Freddy that read, 'You and me together forever! -Freddy.' There was a desk in the corner that looked like Freddy's desk and mirror, but it was blue. The floor was rusted white and the walls were the same color. On top of the desk was a disabled computer and a VHS tape laying down. The label on the tape read, 'Where is Bonnie?'
"Freddy! There's some kind of a tape here. Should I watch it?" Gregory questioned.
"A VHS tape? I don't recall anything of the sort being found! This will give us everything we need."
~~~
Bonnie, Freddy, Chica, and Roxy just finished their last show of the day. This was one of the most successful months of the Pizzaplex's existence. Freddy was everyone's favorite, as his kind and gentle nature gave comfort. Chica loved food, and ensured herself and everyone else was well-fed. Bonnie was the relaxation animatronic. He dedicated his time to everyone's enjoyment. Roxy was the competition candidate, and she made sure the kids were ready to win. Together, they brought happiness to every kid and adult alike.
As the group of four were hanging out in Bonnie Bowl, they were greeted by another animatronic- Montgomery Gator. Montgomery Gator was a minor animatronic, like the Daycare Attendant. He was responsible for running Monty Golf, and he took his job very seriously. As he confronted the animatronics by the bar, he had a very serious expression on his face.
"Well, hello Monty! I see you are out of Monty Golf, up and about. You do not usually leave your comfort zone, so I commended you for doing so!" Freddy welcomed brightly.
The other animatronics weren't big fans of Monty, and were a little distant. Freddy, however, treated him with kindness, just like anyone else.
"I need to talk to Bonnie," Monty said grimly. Monty was not very friendly with the other animatronics, but his tone of voice was rather cold, even for him. Noting this, Bonnie raised his eyebrow in curiosity.
"Is something wrong?" he asked in a concerned voice. Immediately, Monty turned his gaze to the purple hare animatronic.
"I need to show you something. I found something you're not gonna like," Monty warned. Bonnie looked very offset but he followed the gator animatronic anyways, leaving his three dazed friends behind.
The footage cut straight to the elevator outside Monty Golf, which the two animatronics rushed in. Monty was shown to be in a hurry, while Bonnie appeared to grow more and more paranoid by the minute.
"Where are we going?" Bonnie demanded.
"I need your help," Monty gruffed. Then, the elevator closed and the footage cut away. Yet again, the footage switched to the catwalks in Monty Golf. There was a set of catwalks above the attraction. Monty and Bonnie were staring down below.
"You see all that?" Monty said mysteriously.
"...I do," Bonnie said in an irritated manner.
"Look behind you."
Bonnie was suddenly punched in the face by Monty. His casing broke, and his face was exposed.
"What was that?!" Bonnie demanded angrily.
"Look alive!" Vanny said. She had just dropped in from a nearby abandoned ride. The woman in the white rabbit suit pulled out a knife from her pocket.
"What?! WHO IS THIS?" Bonnie demanded. Vanny reached out toward Bonnie's face casing, pulling it off and exposing his endoskeleton. Vanny sliced a wire with her knife, which cut off all power to the animatronic. Bonnie collapsed to the ground with a metallic thud.
"Well... my master is going to LOVE this. Rabbit animatronic components for his restoration!" Vanny said happily.
"Well... that's my end of the bargain," Monty said sharply.
"Of course, Montgomery. You have certainly done well. With Bonnie now dead, we are going to have to get some kind of a replacement in the band. That'll be... you," Vanny promised.
"Ah... victory," Monty said smugly.
"Good job! Now, we need to make sure your friends don't remember ANY of this! I can wipe their memories if you need. But I will need your services in the future," Vanny continued.
"Really? With what?" Monty demanded.
"Now that I can begin construction on my Master's new physical body, I need remnant. Do you know what remnant IS, Montgomery?" Vanny giggled.
"No?" Monty replied dimly.
"Remnant is a substance derived from the soul. Very few people know of it. It can be used to bind souls to inanimate objects... like animatronics. We need children, Montgomery. Hunt them down, and I'll do the dirty work. And I'll need lots of Endoskeletons. This way, my Master can rise," Vanny explained.
"This is the murder of children we are talking about! Are you sure?!" Monty demanded.
"Trust me, you will be rewarded beyond your WILDEST dreams, when my Master returns. You have a lot to learn, Montgomery. Now, we need to carry Bonnie away. Follow me," Vanny assured. That's when the tape cut away to one final clip. Vanny was alone in the very room that the tape was made in.
"The parts did not work. Master is not pleased. But no matter! I still have more playmates..." Vanny cooed with a dose of insanity. In the corner of the room was the scrapped carcass of Bonnie. Most of casing was gone and many parts of his Endoskeleton were scattered across the room. This, is what had become of Bonnie the Bunny...
~~~
It took a really long time, but when the tape finished playing, Gregory was in utter shock. He had just witnessed the murder of an animatronic, the hatching of a plot to kill children, and the existence of a substance that supposedly made one immortal. Gregory was right- there were some demonic things going on indeed. For now, he had to focus on reaching Freddy.
"Freddy? Are you there?" Gregory called through his FazWatch.
"Of course, Superstar. What happened?" the bear animatronic asked gently.
"I watched the tape. It's disturbing, to say the least..." Gregory replied.
"What was in the tape?" Freddy asked innocently. Gregory spared no detail in explaining the tape, from Bonnie's murder, to Monty's motives, to the remnant, to the Endoskeletons being harvested, and to Bonnie's eventual fate. Freddy was surprised, to say the least.
"WHAT?! I cannot believe it! Monty killed Bonnie, and likely countless children, for a higher position in the band?!" Freddy ranted.
"It looks like he serves Vanny by choice, not by being corrupted like Roxy and Chica," Gregory said darkly.
"Well, we will have his head! Forget saving him, Monty needs to be decommissioned for good," Freddy growled with a vengeance.
"I agree. Now... what about the Endoskeletons? They've been harvested for remnant from dead children, from what I can tell. That certainly explains why there weren't very many back at the Warehouse," Gregory asked.
"They are lost to Vanny and her master. We can only prevent the murder of future children by killing her. For now, you should come back to Parts and Service. We have only twenty minutes before my repairs are complete, and the lights turn off," Freddy advised.
"Right," Gregory agreed. He walked out of the hidden room and back out to the food bar of Bonnie Bowl. However, before he could make a quiet exit, he was spotted.
"Huh?" Gregory said. Then, he noticed that the bar was surrounded by a group of Endoskeletons.
"There you are, Gregory! Time to die..." one of the Endos lowed.
"That's IMPOSSIBLE! How are you out of the Warehouse?" Gregory exclaimed out of surprise.
"What's going on?" Freddy asked through the FazWatch.
"Endos!" Gregory replied.
"Get out," Freddy whispered. Then, one Endoskeleton leaped over the counter, abandoning the eye contact rule.
In that moment, Gregory remembered the Fazer Blaster that he acquired. The Fazer Blaster, in his bag, was meant to make an animatronic malfunction. He yanked the gun out of his bag and fired it at the Endo. The flashing red lights hit the Endoskeleton in the face. His eyes rolled back and he clutched his eyes in pain.
"Ouch! System malfunctioning," the Endo roared.
While the Endoskeleton was doubled over in pain, Gregory ran behind the employee bar and attempted to ditch the Endoskeletons in hot pursuit of him. Immediately, metal clanking was heard echoing throughout the stadium.
"Are you doing alright?" Freddy asked.
"I'm almost out!" Gregory replied. He made it to one of the roll-up doors, which led to the entrance hallway to the elevator. Gregory dashed to the elevator and pressed the button to close it.
"NO! The boy is escaping!" one Endo exclaimed out of frustration. He dashed to the elevator, but by the time he made it, it was too late. The elevator closed and descended down to the Atrium. Gregory was safe for now.
Possession is shown to affect the appearance of animatronics multiple times throughout the series. Such as Baby’s eyes changing from blue to green, the Puppet’s tear marks appearing after being possessed, an example from the books being how Coils the Clown looks sad after maybe being possessed. So it’s not out of the picture that this could be the case with Golden Freddy.
So if we are to believe that Golden Freddy is Fredbear his hat and bow tie changed from purple to black after being possessed.
FNAF should introduce something truly new.
Fnaf is getting to where it’s hardly a horror series and is just whatever random stuff SW and Scott can shove in. There are so many reasons it’s bad.
Remnant. No one likes it, it’s just magic fucking soul juice and Scott/Steel Wool’s excuse to avoid writing actual explanations for things.
There’s too much already made to add anything new. They can’t create a “protagonist” without it being Crying Child or Cassidy. They can’t create an antagonist without it just being William Afton or Ennard.
THE ARCS DONT FUCKEGN FINISH. They refuse to let William go back to hell! They refuse to let Ennard do anything but slowly just accumulate mass and become nothing but a big glob of the gotdayum Remnant soul juice!
bogos binted 👽
FUCKING. RETCONS. THERE IS NOTHING MORE INFURIATING THAN OLD LORE BEING COMPLETELY CONTRADICTED AND (IN MOST CASES) REPLACED BY STUPIDER, LAMER SHIT.
Fnaf needs to enter some sort of “second chapter”.
Force Silly Willy Afton to ROT IN FUCKING HELLLL, keep Mimic (because if they do it right, they could do some really cool shit with this guy), get rid of The Blob and remnant and keep Vanny (another awesome concept for a character)
Oh and maybe give us FNAF World 2 please :3
I think Burntrap is but also isn't really Wiliam afton anymore the only thing that remains is his agony he isn't really "living" as he was as Springtrap or... scr-scra-scraptrap because his remnant is gone
The biggest problem with remnant is, of course, how it is made and where it comes from to be made in the first place. We haven't gotten any confirmation or even official word on it either. It has been presumed the Funtime animatronics are made from remnant, but of whose remnant? And again, how is it made? The most popular theory I have seen is that it comes from painful deaths, like the torture mask in the movie or dying by spring locks in spring lock suits. There is just too much uncertainty surrounding this substance for us to make any theories from it
Idk but I feel like the fandom just needed this reminder since the series is moving into a sci-fi like storyline. So remember, the remnant is coming from somewhere, it's still a paranormal substance filled with supernatural power (idk what it is, agony? souls?) and you have to kill people to get it, an amalgamation of dead children possesses any animatronic we see onward, it's not one kid anymore, it's several. Just making this so we all don't forget because I feel like no one has said anything about this stuff
While everybody's freaking out about going thru walls, I have a theory. When we pass through wall, there's a static, I think that there's possibly illusion disks that make us think there's a wall, or it's just strong holograms, because new FNAF is in the future, lol, tho it would've been more thought out if V. A. N. N. I. just showed us where are the holes in the walls. But, there's a problem with platforms that don't exist in reality, and hopping through portals like Rick & Morty, cus' you can't explain this no matter if you'll use holograms, illusion disks, Remnant, or allegory, this is actually stupid.
Hello, friends! This is a redo of something I did late last year. If you’ve already read that, though, don’t worry, because I had some new ideas that I put into this, so it’s not a complete low-effort copy.
Now, to jump to the topic at hand. Let’s kick this off with one question: What is remnant(You might already know what it is, I just defined it here so I could make this longer)?
Remnant is a fictional substance belonging to the franchise “FIve Nights at Freddy’s.” It binds a soul to an animatronic, allowing it to “haunt” the animatronic and possess it. This is basically its underlying purpose, which is pretty straightforward, right? It’s the reason why the meat of FNaF exists — the dead kids who possess the animatronics. But if we dig deeper, we have to ask ourselves, “how does remnant work?”
Well, since we already know what remnant does, let’s ask ourselves another question: “How can the soul exact its influence over a machine?” While the question may seem dumbfounding, hopefully my take can clear the muddied waters a bit. Please be reminded, though, that since science doesn’t really explain what a soul is, this explanation relies heavily on my own opinions and that I mixed science with baseless guesswork, so please don’t go walking up to a neurosurgeon or a neurologist or a neuro-whatever, and spewing whatever is in this comprehensive explanation. Or maybe do, they might tell you you’re crazy and give you REAL facts, in which case you’ll learn something (then you can come to me and tell me how stupid I am while I sputter uselessly at your jargon).
So, back to the topic at hand. Explanation OFFICIALLY STARTS HERE, sorry for the incessant rambling. So, “how can a soul exact its influence over a machine?” Well, here’s what I think — the animatronics in FNaF operate under CPUs, or computer processing units. The CPU is to a robot what the brain is to the body — a central command, a control center. The CPU processes the code required for the robot to act upon, and executes these instructions through electrical signals. Information in the code is expressed in bits and bytes, or simply ones and zeroes.
The brain also executes electrical signals and processes information, but not in the same way a CPU does. A CPU relies upon its juicy internal circuitry to channel electricity for it to run, while the brain relies on chemical processes and is divided into separate portions, each for a specific aspect of life(example, the cerebellum controls motor functions).
Additionally, a CPU relies on external assistance to even operate, like a programmer, or a switch to activate it (you need to turn your phones and your tablets and your iPads on), while your brain is on the ON mode for the entirety of your life. The human brain is actually much more powerful and complex than a CPU is, with more raw strength and efficiency.
So, where am I going with this? Well, since a soul, a product of the human brain, is much too complex and large for a CPU to hold, there’s only one possible explanation. Since the children possess the animatronics, their souls must have taken residence in the animatronics’ CPUs. Otherwise, how could they move their new heavy-ass metal bodies?
But wait! There’s no way, right? CPUs are too weak to even glance at the magnificent glorious rizzy sight of a product of the human mind, right(exaggeration)? Because the CPU can’t possibly hold all that information all at once (the human soul, in my simple terms, is a concoction of a human’s memories, DNA and experiences that define their personalities) some of that human information is chipped off! This is probably why the animatronics are so simple-minded and childlike — because the CPUs aren’t powerful enough to host the full human soul, some of the soul (information that makes you you) is lost forever. Consequently, the animatronics have lost the ability for complex thought, so they’re basically like mindless zombies, or if you want to be nice, toddlers.
Basically the only piece of information from the human that remains in the CPU is some distant memory of who they once were, so they haven’t completely lost all sense of self identity, and their most recent memory. What were the kids’ last memories? Being brutally murdered, mutilated, and stuffed into a complex network of metal beams and sharp cogs. So if you think about it, this may be why the animatronics are so violent.
So then what does the remnant actually do? Well, do you know what deoxyribonucleic acid is? You can just call it DNA. DNA is a set of instructions that maps an organism into a template. It makes you, you — if you have a disease passed down in your family history, the color of your eyes, how easy it is for you to gain weight or muscle, etc. It also distinguishes between what species you are, for instance, dolphins have dolphin DNA and humans have human DNA.
Why is DNA relevant? Well, it says you’re a human, right? What if you tried to enter another body, say, a machine’s, while you were a human? You would be rejected! You can probably guess remnant's purpose by now, but if you can’t, here it is: remnant essentially removes the part of DNA that identifies you as a human. It removes that final barrier so that the soul can take on different forms. Without that annoying part of DNA reminding you that you’re a dang boring old human(damn it, Mother Nature, why can’t I be a cool tiger? Or a dolphin? Or a shark? Life sucks… ) a soul basically becomes a flexible concoction of an organism’s memories, some whispers of DNA, and experiences, able to take on many bodies (but do remember, the soul will be reshaped to fit the brain of the new body it inhabits. In this case, it’s the animatronics and their weak CPUs).
Also, last thing, research suggests that our brains function off of quantum computation. The fundamental unit of quantum computing is called a qubit. Therefore, because a qubit can be translated into the regular units of bits and bytes (it's just so much smaller than a byte) an animatronic's CPU should theoretically be able to host the soul, expressed in qubits.
This is all for now, and I hope you enjoyed it! Thank you for reading, and please DO NOT feel free to leave any criticisms, questions or contradictions you have for me (just kidding, but be nice about it, I don’t want my feelings annihilated out of existence). Please let me know what I should do next as well. Also, I apologize for the overly enthusiastic wording this is in. If I do more, they won't be so cringe.
What happens if you give an Ink creature remnant?
(From the Remnant post)
A person has to have a soul in order to receive remnant, right? And Ink needs a soul in order to corrupt someone as well, righty?
So what happens if you just-
Give someone like Sammy remnant? (Well, I mean, he already comes back, though.)
However, they're already immortal. So, what would it even do?
And vise versa for another question.
What happens if someone like Michael or William (when and if he still has a soul) were corrupted after having contact with Remnant?
Would they have a new vessel created for them for their soul to take? Would their body still be corrupted regardless?
Jeez, I've created a rabbit hole, haven't I?
Remember the Human Souls from Undertale?
And remnant from FNaF?
And Ink from BatIM/DR?
Don't they all seem... simular? Powerful, even?
They were used for someone's benefits... but resulted in people suffering or even dying because of it. Or to gain it/them.
Now, remember Asgore?
And William?
And Joey?
Don't they sound similar?
They're all rulers of something, or they run something. They have a family that they made or started. They lost their family or weren't able to treat their family right. All three of them lost their families' lives because of them, or they weren't even real people.
They did horrible things.
They all died in some way. They got old, died horribly, or were killed off by their own offspring.
Speaking of offspring.
Aren't Chara & Asriel, Audrey (& The Demon/Bendy), and Michael, Elizabeth, and CC all the same?
None of them are human, plus, they're all dead because of their parents (except Chara, that was sorta their fault [but not completely] - and Joey didn't do much to Audrey, just mistreated the Demon). They all aspire to fix their father's mistakes, one way or another.
As a bonus, Sans and Papyrus exist (with Gaster), but that's another thing.
Also, all of the older siblings (aside from Audrey, she's younger) are Main Protags.
Speaking of main...
What about the Antagonists?
Like Vanny.
Or Sammy.
Or Frisk (well, you made them that way. It's your fault).
They're the same. Albeit, insane.
But it wasn't their fault they were like this. It was either (you, the player), a person whose dead (and will not die) or it was a person that they worked for that made them into that.
And 2/3 of them have masks.
IN THAT CASE-
(I should stop while I'm at it.)
This is an expansion on an old theory I created. The basic (poor quality, albeit.) rundown is here.
The quick summary for those who don’t bother to click: As most people know, Fire can disperse and destroy “remnant,” freeing souls which are presumably fused into the animatronics by this remnant.
Through blueprints and scraps of lore through FFPS, we can tell remnant is burned to be destroyed. It seems most of the other souls were freed when the fire went off then, right? So why not Afton’s?
It’s likely because his “remnant” isn’t exactly just that. In AR, special delivery, we see two types of it. Dark and light. A shadow version of Bonnie manifests itself once you collect too much dark remnant, and can be disposed of through the flashlight, or light.
So if Afton doesn’t carry light remnant, then he must have that dark remnant, right? You can just say light would destroy the remnant and set him free, right? It’s not that simple. Throughout the series, we see Afton in light as clear as day, so why wouldn’t that destroy him?
Well, Flashlights are specifically made of two kinds of light. LED, and Tungsten filament. This means that the dark remnant is dispersed by one of the two, most likely, unless the flashlight was specially made for the purpose. LED lights are used in restaurants, but only in areas which require high visibility, I.e the kitchen. We haven’t seen Afton in this area during the series, which could be a coincidence, or add up to him avoiding that kind of light
For Tungsten filament, it isn’t used in any sort of commercial setting to light up a room. Only in a few devices and gadgets. This means, it’s a viable option to disperse the dark remnant, and wouldn’t just make Afton’s soul vanish in an ordinary scenario.
And now my hands are purple... help-
Remnant may have cured the main teletubbies' corpses after Rigor Mortis has stopped the discoloration of their skin.
Think of why William haves ears in Scraptrap's design, Remnant.
The infected custards did had some Remnant and Rigor Mortis on it, leading me to prove that Teletubby Custards are just a combination of Meth Crystal and a jar of Remnant.
Think again, Meth Crystals were made out of Cancer either. So, a connection of two drugs can fit.
I may broke bad but anyways.
Aswell, letting Noonoo taste his own custard could return his corpse back to life.
Before debunking. Here's a whole list.
Po's right eyelid has been scratched, including her chin and the left top corner of her face, However how many remnants a single Teletubby Custards gives, she only haves her bloody tears instead of a whole bloody-ass face.
Laalaa's limbs has been scratched too, however one of scratches on her right palm disappears after mutation.
Dipsy's head had bloody tears, with his eyelids closed. However, after it was confirmed that Lake Dipsy is just his disembodied head “transfurred into a fish”, It is possible to notice that his bloody tears has disappeared
I apologize if I've shitposted about Breaking Bad, or even my grammar sucks either. I am a young Russian person and I'll honestly would like a Slendytubbies theory.
How was henry able to make those animaltronics move without sevros and stuff. mat said it was his creativty. but no human could do that. unless....
You know agony is the thing witch helps animaltronics get possed?
Well + remant. but... henry wasn't using agony + remnant?
We know thats willam. so he was using the opposite of agony,
JOY! joy and agony are completely diffrent,
One is good, other is bad.
Just like willam and herny!
Agony needs remmnat.
Joy does not.
So there!
