I'M BACK, AND HYPED AS FUCK FOR THE SECOND MOVIE!!!!!!!
MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Henry emerged from his office after his speech, looking around the flames, a small smile in his face as everything is coming to an end.
But then Henry saw something lurking in the distance.
It was The Marionette, she had somehow broke out of Lefty and escaped the labyrinth. but how..?
Henry assumed he'll meet his end at his own daughter's hands.
Henry: “im sorry.. Charlie.... im.. really sorry.”
but then..
instead of attacking him, she suddenly wrapped her limbs around him in a hug.
Marionette: “it's okay dad... despite everything.. i forgive you.”
A relief and happiness washed over Henry as he also hugged her too, and the fire roared closer, he felt a sense of peace. Together, they closed their eyes, the flames looming to consume them.
(idk if this is considered as fanart or fanfiction, but if this is considered fanfiction, please tell me so i'll change the category right away)
Am I the only one who doesn’t understand secrets of the mimic/don’t really like it? Like I’ve been playing and watching fnaf since I was two years old when the first game came out and I feel like after Ruin it lost all of its fnaf vibes of checking cameras, survive until 6AM, custom nights, bonus nights, the stars, etc. Like I get it’s supposed to add more lore but I kinda got lost after the end of ruin since it doesn’t make sense to me, and I’ve known all the lore when people began to make theories like matpat was. Like is Edwin related to William in some way? Or Henry? What do they have to do with the story despite the fact that Edwin made the mimic which even then doesn’t make sense to me. I want to think Edwin is just William going by another alias like Dave Miller, or how we used to think his name was Vincent before his name was confirmed to be William. And I get secrets of the mimic takes place in the late 70s but I don’t get plan that Scott had for it. I don’t know if the book secrets of the mimic gives more information but it just doesn’t have the same fnaf vibe, it’s like poppy playtime tbh. It’s so confusing! The lore from fnaf 1-help wanted 2 made sense but then it was just hard to track after that and it lost the fnaf vibes, like at least security breach followed the lore better than ruin and secrets of the mimic did and it followed the main concept of fnaf like surviving until 6AM and security cameras and possessed animatronics. Like I can see some of the secrets of the mimic mascots being early versions of the main animatronics including Roxy, but it’s still like does that mean Henry and William didn’t make the animatronics?? Someone please explain it to me but keep it simple or else i won’t understand 😭😭

Are you still here?
Last chance to turn back now.
Okay, you were warned!
So after watching a “Can Batman solve FNAF?" video on YouTube, putting the Dark Knight through every Era of Freddy’s, this idea popped into my head. Something that could potentially answer the question of why Glitchtrap takes on Afton’s form, and why William Afton started killing kids.
Let me give you a rundown of what we know:
Glitchtrap's program was created in 1979 by Mimic 1 with the purpose of bringing back David Murray, son of Edwin Murray a contractor for Fazbear Entertainment and former lead engineer. Presumably running through various computers and evolving over the decades. Eventually becoming a virus that looks suspiciously like Afton. It can also take over and manipulate human beings like Vanessa, Jeremy and Gregory. And this is what made it all click into place for me.
We do know that FNAF has far more advanced technology than the real world. So let’s flash forward to 1983, only a few years later. William and Henry are running diagnostic tests on the Spring Bonnie suit. But something puts itself into the suit. It starts whispering to William. Taking on Spring Bonnie’s personality as it’s preprogrammed into the suit. Then, the bite of 83 happens. William, crushed by his youngest son’s death is emotionally vulnerable, he starts wearing the suit more and more. “Spring Bonnie” encouraging him to put his son “back together.” Telling him that his son, as well as Edwin’s son, David are still around. Haunting Fredbear and the Costume facility from the manor respectively.
Afton, ever the control freak and his mind vulnerable to suggestion, decides to delve into the secrets of life and death. William Afton starts luring children with the Spring Bonnie suit, and murdering them. Trying to replicate how his son came to possess Fredbear, Glitchtrap having him see it as “part of the game". In 1985 he finally succeeds, seeing Charlotte placing his victims into the animatronics which “come to life". The death of Charlotte, combined with the accusations that Henry was involved in her death, caused him, his wife and remaining son to leave. This absence would give Afton full control over the company.
After Freddy’s closes, Afton would establish Afton Robotics, the Sister Company to Fazbear Entertainment. Using his considerable capital as well as his genius level intellect, and experience in designing and developing animatronics, would create the “Funtime Animatronics” these latest advancements possess more advanced AI, more organic movement and featured small spaces in their bodies that split parts of their suits into plates, allowing them to swivel open for easier maintenance. Each Funtime Animatronic had a role in the capturing and subsequently murdering of children. Allowing him to discover Remnant, the energy of the soul as well as Agony, the pain of those souls.
It was for this reason Afton forbid his daughter, Elisabeth to see the Circus Baby Animatronic up close. Although made with her in mind, Circus Baby was not equipped with an exclusion program yet. However, one day Elisabeth managed to sneak away to see Circus Baby in private. Seeing the young girl alone, it lured her closer with ice cream, before ensnaring her with its capture arm. Due to a malfunction in her programming, Circus Baby unintentionally killed Elizabeth, causing her spirit to possess Circus Baby.
William was crushed by the death of his daughter, canceled the Grand Opening of Circus Baby’s Pizza World and instead opened a rental service using the Funtime Animatronics. To keep them in line, he had technicians shock the animatronics. He also taught Elisabeth to pretend to be just an ordinary animatronic. He would visit Elizabeth frequently, making sure she and her “friends” received proper maintenance and didn’t attempt to escape.
Afton however, would try again with the Grand Opening of a new Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza location in November of 1987, with the new, “kid friendly” Toy Animatronics. Posing as an employee under an alias, he completed the first night shift at Freddy’s, as well as murdered 5 more children, despite the best efforts of Withered Freddy and The Puppet. Charlotte, not wanting Freddy’s to close before she could stop Afton and give the children peace, hid these 5 new victims inside the new animatronics. The most trusted staff members under Afton’s orders removed the bodies and cleaned the animatronics.
However, to his delight, the children William had killed still possessed the new animatronics. He would then begin extracting Remnant and Agony from the 10 animatronics. After a few short weeks the restaurant closed down, with the restaurant reopening in 1993 with the revamped Classic Animatronics. After the FNAF 1 location shut down, Afton would continue his research, breaking the Classics apart to harvest their remnant and agony, with Glitchtrap creating a hallucination of Shadow Freddy to lure them to the same back room where they died almost a decade ago. But, he would unwittingly release the souls of his victims. When they confronted him, he hid in his Spring Bonnie suit. The same suit that housed Glitchtrap. Upon being Springlocked into the suit, Afton’s soul merged with Glitchtrap, the two entities becoming one. Glitchtrap and William Afton would become Springtrap.
30 years later in 2023, the company behind Fazbear’s Fright found Springtrap, leading to the events of FNAF 3, and Pizzeria Simulator. Scraptrap's circuits would be scanned into VR game, decades later, Glitchtrap, still harboring a shard of Afton’s soul and memories manifested in the form we see it in most of his appearances. A twisted combination of the suits The Mimics would wear and Afton’s own Spring Bonnie suit. Now Glitchtrap and William Afton are one and the same. He isn’t just mimicking Afton, he IS Afton, and Afton is now him.
A corrupted fusion of a computer program and a human soul, their goal to resurrect David and The Afton family by any means necessary. They are the Mimic and William Afton. Glitchtrap/William Afton/The Mimic is his own grandpa! Retroactively creating himself! William Afton was Vanny 1.0! With the "new" Glitchtrap using Vanessa to make Killer Bunny 2.0 to further research remnant and agony to bring back David, while using her and Gregory, to make a pseudo versions of Elisabeth and the Crying Child. Unintentionally pulling in Glamrock Freddy to become the Michael Afton of the Security Breach Era.
That's why we see a representation of the Afton family in Security Breach, and why the mother is at the head of the table. Because Glitchtrap 1.0 was created by M1 who mimicked Edwin’s wife! For all intent and purposes the mother of Glitchtrap 1.0. With Glitchtrap 2.0 being the merger of 1.0 and Afton. The current Glitchtrap being the 3.0 version. Carrying a shard of Afton’s soul with it, along with his memories, personality and drive to become the master of life and death.
But hey, that’s JUST A THEORY! A GAME THEORY! Thanks for reading! Is this the most unhinged theory that I have ever made? No, that’s still my William Afton is a Terminator theory. Is it likely? The Hell should I know at this point?! But with what Steelwool has put out so far would it really surprise you if this turned out to be true? With how they essentially made Edwin THE top creator in FNAF would it be that far of a stretch for Steelwool to make everything Afton did Glitchtrap's influence retroactively? They've done it once, they'll probably do it again.
As always, remember to smile. Because you are the face of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza!
Chica was made by Murray; so were Orville Elephant, Mr. Hippo(aka Jugband Hippo), Happy Frog, Foxy and other characters that weren't made by William Afton. . .
Since a Lot of Designs were stolen from the Murrays by Henry & William. . .
Which Animatronics, If Any did Henry Emily make that WEREN'T Stolen from Edwin & Fiona Murray?!!
Because It seems to me that everything that was previously Credited towards Henry Emily; seems to be actually made by Murray; And Henry Emily appears to be a Fraud

So, I know what you're wondering "what did you realize?" Well, some/all of us know that William and Henry are the founder's of Fazbear entertainment. Then it hit me: if William and Henry are dead, who's running Fazbear entertainment?
Like Afton, it’s back and better than ever! The prologue of The Freddy’s Case, an original FNaF fanfic by me, in the perspective of a PI in the midst of the tragedies and mysteries of Freddy’s. This iteration of the series will be a complete reboot, as i plan to actually make this series align more with the FNaF timeline. Been a few years, so my writing ability should have improved as well.
For clarification’s sake, the Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza mentioned in this prologue will be the 1985 “unwithered” location. Chapter 1 will be during FNaF 2 as it was originally, followed by FNaF 1 and then FNaF 3, unlike last time.
File 0: 06/30/1985
My name is John Harvester. I am a private investigator from Hurricane, Utah. For the past several days, I have been working around the clock with the local police on a case unlike any that has been seen before in our home. On the night of June 26, 5 young children were celebrating a birthday at the local pizza place known as Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, popular for its advanced animatronic mascots created by co-owners Henry Emily and William Afton. The police were called when the children slowly began to disappear. Reports pointed to the kids being lured into a back room of the establishment by a man in a mascot costume. The suspect is co-owner William Afton, who was arrested not far from state borders. The children, however, have not been found. Afton denies everything, and search parties have turned up nothing.
In the meantime, I have poured hours into researching the establishment itself and its founding. This was not Afton and Emily’s first attempt at an animatronic pizza venue, and it seems to not be the first tragedy, either. Their first establishment was known as Fredbears Family Diner. It was smaller and had only two animatronic/costume hybrid mascots, a design patented by Henry Emily. The first tragedy struck when Afton’s own son, a young boy named Evan, had his head crushed in the jaws of the titular Fredbear animatronic. From what i can tell, the diner was closed to the general public at the time for Evan’s birthday, and Afton paid good money to keep the event quiet. Afton’s eldest son, Micheal, barely escaped legal charges for his apparent involvement in the incident, which was officially written off as malfunction on part of the animatronic. Given the general public’s lack of awareness of the event and for other unknown reasons, the diner remained open. Until a few months later, when Henry Emily’s young daughter Charlotte was found murdered in an alleyway just outside the building, the murderer unknown. This was two years ago.
I hated to bring up old wounds but found it necessary to question Henry about the incident. I got little out of him that i didn’t already know, though i was happy to listen to him tell me about little Charlie, as friends called her. Apparently he was alerted that something was wrong that day because he had designed a robot, called the Puppet, specifically for the purpose of watching her. It was the robot that had found her body. He paused as he recounted this to me, and he had a look in his eyes. Grief, definitely. But there was also something else. Something that suggested he knew more than he let on, though i never got it out of him.
This ends my report thus far. I will update when… if, i find something that will point me in the direction of the Missing Children. I fear i may have to inform the parents of my lack of progress soon.
For all this time, we thought the Mimic was burntrap, but you are WRONG! He is actually HENRY HIMSELF.
Henry FRAMED William for his crimes, then when he couldnt take it anymore, he (somehow) died and posessed the mimic, my evidence:
THEY ARE BOTH GRAY !!!
WHICH MEANS THEY ARE OBVIOUSLY CONNECTED, IF NOT HIM, ITS SECRETLY CHARLIE!!!
For my next theory, Proving How Willam actually just REALLY liked Among Us
Ok whatever. huge wip ofc. I have no mouth but I must scream is so PEAK 🙏

I'd love to hear about your opinion on Henry's epiphany and how he figured everything out prior to FFPS
I was gonna make a post on this (and still might) but I'm just cursed with grave laziness. Ok , done.
1. The game does add subtle hints and ties between mrs afton and ballora,
BUT.
Logically speaking, we dont see any trace of williams wife even some time before the funtimes were made.
So I don't really think its literally his wife. Only the image.
@ScaredyCatOMG
2. With Henry's epiphany, I would say the moment he began to figure everything out was likely The Puppet, actually
He likely realized his daughter was still alive when he saw the machinery still operating differently protecting ALL children, unlike before.
He realized the People who die in the suits resurrect through possession. And began looking through the same rabbit hole William did. Except their was a difference; he was looking how to end them after death.
Maybe he experimented with animals or the classics, and used fire to try and burn remnant. And it worked.
@spookydookie31(wont ping for some reason)
He likely then began a plan to try and trap all of them, luring with things the remaining animatronics would be interested in.
What kind of character does Henry Emily represent to you? Do you consider him a purely positive or negative character? At one time, I used to consider him a kind–hearted man who, it would seem, pursued good goals - to free the souls of children. But is this man really that pure? Let's get this straight.
Of course, those who know Henry only through games (or rather, one game) may have a positive opinion of him: he takes the blame for the murdered children, realizes the horror of William's deeds, wants to help souls find peace, and so on. But is he really that pure and noble? Of course not. For the most part, this is revealed in a trilogy of novels that reveal the human element of the game characters.
I think it makes no sense to insert Charlotte's memories of her father, because most of them are kind and sweet. However, Henry's dark side was also presented. For example, John mentions that some people thought he was guilty of kidnapping children.
> “Some people thought he did it, yeah,” he admitted. <…> “I—no, I meant what did they think of him as a person. Did they think he was odd, or kind, or … I didn’t know …” She trailed off, lost in the magnitude of this new truth. People thought he did it. Of course they did. It was his restaurant. The first child to vanish was his child. In the absence of a confession or a conviction, who else would anyone think of? Charlie shook her head again. <…> “People thought it was because of the guilt,” John said, almost to himself.
In the novel The Twisted Ones, Charlie recalls how her father dismantled a mechanical frog in front of her eyes, despite the girl's crying. By doing so, he left his daughter with psychological trauma.
Apparently, Henry allowed himself to do some pretty harsh things that unknowingly harmed his daughter. But what reveals him best is a farewell letter from TFC, in which he admits his mistakes. In particular, he locked himself in his ideal world, ignoring his sister, who was trying to bring him back to reality. And even in the letter, Henry admits that he cannot destroy his creations himself, so he puts everything on his sister's shoulders.
> Keep all the closets shut. Let them be tombs for my denial and my grievance. My only lasting instruction for you concerns the fourth closet. It is not enough to keep it shut, you must keep that one sealed and buried.
In the letter, Henry also states that he managed to stop Afton (most likely, the first failure of the spring locks was his doing) and hide his creations.
> I was able to stop him, and to seal away what he made, and you, Jenny, must ensure that the seal remains.
But what we see in the end is that William Afton survived, his creations remained, helping him torment people, and the closet was never destroyed, which is why the Circus Baby appeared. Henry didn't get to make sure that his plan would work; that Jean would run his errands. He left the robotic Charlie, which caused her to go through a lot of dangers, including the realization that her father had simply abandoned her before his death. What can I say that after the death of his daughter, Henry became so locked in his grief that he forgot about his wife and son. He couldn't notice that his close friend and colleague was the same person who took his child away from him. After the creation of CharlieBot, Henry did not want to listen to reason, allowing William to commit the very murder of children. Do not forget that it was Henry's inventions (animatronics, illusory disks) that the murderer used for his own purposes, which again is a consequence of Henry's badly thought-out plan.
Now let's move on to the games. Yes, there was very little Henry in them, but even according to the available data, we can conclude that the game version is exactly the same. He may not have a son, but he did have a wife. Henry doesn't even remember her, as he was also consumed by grief over his daughter's death. He again ignores his friend's depravity, allowing him to commit murders. However, calling him a loving father won't work either. I remind you that Lefty, created to capture The Puppet (the one with Charlotte's soul), had to constantly shock him, although one music box could be enough. If the main character finds out about his employer's plans, he will be sent for a lobotomy. A very kind and noble act.
As in the case of the novels, Henry tries to destroy the consequences of Afton's actions and himself by starting a fire. He declares the hope that all the events that have happened will be forgotten, and the story will finally end. But what we see in practice: Afton survived and continued to kill people in Fazbear Frights (albeit briefly), his legacy was continued by Eleanor and The Mimic, Fazbear Entertainment did not disintegrate anywhere, but grew and became the leading force of the entire city, while the company also used Afton's technology for its own purposes, and all the events from the past She made fun of me. Even Henry's daughter couldn't find peace until she defeated Afton.
Henry Emily can certainly be called a "gray" character. He is not a direct antagonist, but it was his actions that became the starting point for the true evil in the person of William Afton and Fazbear Entertainment. And don't forget that in all cases, Henry either committed murders and terrible crimes, or tried in a very strange way to stop the whole nightmare, but failed. And with all these nuances, I consider this portrait of the head of the Emily family to be quite successful. Through him, Scott shows that the blame for terrible events can lie not only on the shoulders of the performer, but also on the person who just stood there and did nothing.
Yes, in part this post was made to remind you about Henry, who, apparently, will appear in the second part of the film.
