I’m very new to the lore, so big apologies if I sound stupid, but why the hell does Fazbear Entertainment need so many variants of their animatronics?? It makes sense with stuff like the toys because they’re kid-ified redesigns of the original cast, but I’m talking about stuff like Fredbear and Freddy, Freddy Fazbear’s pizza was opened not too long after Fredbear's Family Diner and the two were operating at the same time? Why do they need to different versions of what is essentially the same character? Wouldn’t it just confuse kids about if Freddy is different than Fredbear? And on top of that, why do they need some random recolors of them? Like seriously, there’s Fredbear, Freddy, Golden Freddy and Shadow Freddy, is there any reason for this many versions? Especially with Shadow Freddy, why do they seriously need a creepy purple version of him? Are they trying deliberately to scare away the kids? This would be even worse if Shadow Bonnie actually exists in-universe
