All in all, not that bad. Spoiler warning. I'm basically about to review this.
I went in somewhat knowing what would happen. I think that actually helped me stay dedicated. Nothing was more motivating than waiting for Carlton to be stabbed with metal.
I liked the humor, especially in The Fourth Closet. I always like something that can get a laugh out of me, whether intentional or not.
Characters, not horrible. I didn't like them when I started reading the Silver Eyes, but by The Twisted Ones I was more open. And by The Fourth Closet, you got me to like John.
Favorite book? Fourth Closet, easily. It's the one with the most humor, and made me like John.
Favorite character? Jessica. I like how she isn't just some stereotypical pretty girl. No, she lives a normal life and is interested in forensics. And she's funny.
Least favorite? Michael and Sammy. When I read the Silver Eyes it was back when I believe in MikeVictim. So when I heard there was a dead kid named Michael, I got excited. And then it was this kid. And I've disliked him ever since. (After writing with him a bit, I don't hate him as much). He's also the reason I'm always memeing about there being too many Mikes in FNaF.
And Sammy? WHERE IS HE? HE'S NOT DEAD, WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO HIM!
Would I recommend? Only to a FNaF fan. I think a non FNaF fan might get confused and not understand it. I have a friend who reads a lot, but I wouldn't tell her to read it. She doesn't like FNaF. But if your thinking about reading it, go for it!
Anyway, I might rank some of the characters at some point.
