Happy 1st day of Faztober! I have so much planned for this spooky month, and I'm starting it off with a spooky story!
I was inspired by @Unwithered-Bonnie-filename10 short gorey stories to make this, so anyway I hope you enjoy this!
“Shit.” you said under your breath. You were trying to reboot the camera systems after it went down unexpectedly.
It was your second night on the job and you figured that it was going to be an easy gig, however this night things began to change. The “Phone Dude” said that he had found something hidden in the walls of the attraction, that being an actual animatronic. You didn’t think that much about it until you noticed that it started to roam around.
You weren’t sure what you had to do, but one thing was for sure you didn’t want it to find you. You found out if you played an audio cue in another room it would follow that sound. For a while this seemed to work until the camera’s stopped working but now they were fixed and you went back to keep an eye on the animatronic. You booted up the camera’s only to find the animatronic left the area. You checked the vent cameras but they weren’t there, you flipped back to the other camera system and checked on the one that led to the arcade. There you noticed something unusual. One of the arcade machines was flickering showing an image of a bird that looked like one of the lights in the hallway. You flipped to the next camera confused, but you were then met with the burnt face of a child animatronic.
Then the face jumped straight at you, you screamed and braced yourself but the child was gone, but now the room was flashing red. You let out a shaky sigh as you went to reboot the ventilation but all of a sudden a burnt bird animatronic screamed in your face. You fell on your back causing the wind to be knocked out of your lungs, you struggled to gasp for air while your vision distorted. As you laid there you saw something standing in the office doorway. Although it was hard to tell what it was, it was the size of a man. You started to become disoriented, blinking in and out of consciousness, but every time you opened your eyes the figure seemed to be moving closer towards you. Then it was looming over you, you looked up to its face to see it had two long rabbit ears although one of them was shorter. Its glowing silver eyes bore down at you but the figure still made no move. You continued to stare into its burning eyes until everything faded to black.
I can’t move.
Feeling returned to your body as you started to regain consciousness. You looked around at your surroundings, you weren’t in the office anymore. Rather you were in a darker room that was only illuminated by an empty Freddy head with a light in it, and the dim light coming from the rest of the attraction from an exposed door. You continued to look around and noticed your restraints. You were confined in a sitting position and the upper half of your body was stuffed in the torso of a mascot costume. You tried to stand up but the weight of the costume brought you back down, when you fell back down something from within the costume jabbed at your back. You winced at the sudden movement.
“I wouldn’t move if I were you.” Your head perked up at the sound of a ragged voice. You looked around again “Who are you? What did you do to me?” you said impatiently with an edge of fear. You heard a chuckle coming from somewhere in the shadows of the room “Who am I?” said the voice sardonically. “I am the one you should be afraid of.” Suddenly a figure emerged from the shadows. It was a green rabbit with a missing ear, their entire body was torn and tattered revealing the mechanisms of the animatronic and something else, something organic. The animatronic stood in front of the entrance and toyed with a knife. “I was once an ordinary man but I’ve become something more,” said the animatronic “My name is Springtrap.” he said the name with pride. “S-Springtrap?” you said “What do you want from me?”
Springtrap approached you and as he did an awful stench came from him which made you gag a little. “I want to make you suffer,” he said. You wanted to stand up and run but you couldn't. “But why?” you asked. Springtrap pointed the knife at your throat, you felt tears welling in your eyes. “Do you know how long I’ve been locked in this room?” he said, you shook your head. “30 years,” he said.
“During those years I was abandoned, forgotten, trapped.” Springtrap continued, still holding the blade to your throat “And I’ve been unable to do anything until now.” He moved the knife away from your neck and you let out a sigh of relief but it was momentarily “What are you going to do to me?” you asked.
Springtrap glared down at you “Well the suit you’re wearing is not an ordinary suit.” he said “It’s called a springlock suit.” Springlock suit? You thought.
It sounded familiar, then you realized you’ve heard about them before. Phone Dude said he found some old training cassette tapes and played them on the speakers of the attraction. On the tapes it talked about the function of the springlock suits. “These suits were made to be worn on both animatronics and humans,” Springtrap explained. “The animatronic parts in that suit are held back by spring locks.” Springtrap pointed at the torso that you were stuffed in, it made you feel uneasy. “Now, if you were to trigger those springlocks, there would be horrible consequences for doing so.” You looked up at Springtrap, fear rising in your voice “W-what consequences?”
Springtrap towered over you making you feel like a frightened little kid. “First the locks will dig into your flesh making deep cuts all over your body, then you’ll start to feel the locks crushing your organs and bones.” You felt nauseous as Springtrap explained in graphic detail, you hoped that this was just a bad dream and that you would wake up safe in the office. Springtrap continued “You’ll crumble to the ground in a pool of your own blood screaming, but you’ll be unable to. Since your throat will be punctured and your lungs will be filled with your own blood. You’ll lay there motionless, hoping you’ll be saved. But no one will be there. And no one will find you.”
You wanted to cry and give up but you refused to. You looked up at Springtrap again, who seemed to take delight in your torment. “I don’t believe you,” you said, gritting your teeth. Springtrap cocked his head to the side “You don’t believe me?” he sneered. You glared defiantly at him when suddenly he let out a low laugh “Well, how do you think I died?”
You now felt even more confused, how he died? Your moment of thought was broken when Springtrap kneeled down to your height, and as he did that nauseous odor that seemed to come from him flooded your nostrils. You fighted the urge to retch as you tried to look into his eyes, his face inches from yours. Springtrap reached his hand to one side of his head and seemed to press some kind of button, when he did something unlocked from his head. Then he used both of his hands to open his jaw wider.
What you saw under that mask made you scream in horror. Underneath the rabbit’s head was the remains of what was once a human head. However the head was too decayed beyond recognition to be called ‘human’. It’s mouth was frozen in a silent scream of agony, only a few yellow rotten teeth remained in the ghastly mouth. The remaining skin was leathery red and in the middle of the face was a gaping hole where a nose once was. And the corpses' human eyes were popped out of their sockets, wide eyed and bloodshot, and glowed supernaturally.
You screamed loudly, your throat going raw, you started to scoot away from the decayed face when something stabbed you in the back. You let out a pained wail as you felt something trickling down your back. Is that blood? “Don’t move,” said Springtrap, still holding his jaw open but the corpse's mouth didn’t seem to move.
You sobbed as you felt the sharp pain in your back, just as you were about to pass out Springtrap approached you again, this time holding a mascot head.
“Now you can be a part of the family forever.” he said as he lowered the head on to yours. When you looked up into the head you noticed sharp metal and wires filled the inside. “No please!” you pleaded desperately “I don’t want to die! I promise I won't tell anyone about this.” Springtrap stopped at what he was doing and stared at you for a long moment. Maybe you weren’t about to die.
When suddenly Springtrap let out a burst of laughter “You think your pity will change anything?” he said ruthlessly. “You will suffer. Suffer like so many of the others.” You tried again to move away but more spikes of metal pierced your arm. You let out one final scream before the mascot head was placed on your head, you felt sharp points of metal slice your face and dig into your head. You were in too much pain to do anything, you wanted to yell for help but couldn’t, even if you did nobody would have heard you. Your mind raced trying to think of a solution to escape this trap but you then realized that it was useless to escape. As blood poured down your face your eyelids slowly closed while you continued to bleed out.
Springtrap walked out of the room, the same room he was once trapped in for 30 years, felt something stir inside him. Excitement, he looked behind him to see the guard’s motionless body starting to bleed from the spring locks. He grinned, he had his fun in the guards misfortune now that he was free, the thrill of killing excited him again. He continued walking through the attraction looking for his next victim.
And yes that one part in the story was based off that one scene from 'The Silver Eyes'.
