Happy Birthday to one of my favorite games in the franchise. I know some people call it a too much of a divergence from the gameplay or it's too sci-fi, but I know there's a large group of people who still enjoy this game no matter what! Happy 9 years!

As we all know, The Mimic has the ability to mimic voices, disguise itself within a suit and mimic behaviours. We also know that Ennard from Sister Location can Mimic voices, and we all saw what it did to Poor Michael in the end. ''Circus Baby'' also says something along the lines of ''pretending'' and all that other crap. Plus, clowns seem to be the latest trend in the series.

Please, just hear me out! What if the Mimic had a connection to the events of SL?

I now have reason to believe that The Mimic was actually the one speaking, using Mike's voice...

We all know Ennard is a fusion amalgamation of the Funtime animatronics, including parts of Ballora, Funtime Freddy, Funtime Foxy, and Circus Baby. But the thing that still remains a mystery is the faceplates Ennard wears.

Now for a second, the faceplates don’t belong to any of the four animatronics we mentioned. The design looks completely different, which leads me to believe that it might have belonged to another Funtime animatronic we've never seen before.

Why? Well, since Ennard is a fusion, it’s reasonable to speculate that it could’ve killed that unknown animatronic and stolen its faceplates to wear. It makes sense, honestly, because we’ve never seen an animatronic in Sister Location with that exact faceplates. That animatronic could’ve been scrapped, and may have been intended to be the fifth member of the Funtime lineup (not counting Bon-Bon, of course).

If Steel Wool ever makes Help Wanted 3 or a spinoff focusing on that missing Funtime animatronic, it could finally explain where Ennard’s unique faceplates came from

This is just theory of my own, but it adds up. Ennard’s face doesn’t belong to any of the others… so maybe it belonged to someone we never got to meet. who knows but it's just speculation, don't expect if this is true or not

I know the mask isn't a thing relevant to the plot of the games and only seen when Ennard is wearing it and when it appears in the primary control module room but will we ever know who it belongs to?

I've seen many people claim it to be or depict it to be from Coils from Issue 9 of Fazbear's Frights, Jump for Tickets, which is a reasonable guess considering the fact they both have a similar looking hat but I've had different guesses.

Could it be that William made this clown character for him or is just a big coincidence? I've always thought this character could be a possible brother of Circus Baby before getting scrapped.

Either way, I'd really love to see my question answered in the future, even if I'm wrong. Maybe we'll something similar in SoTM?

To be honest with you guys, I think if Scott managed to give steel wool the know how on the story, The mimic probably would have had ties with Ennard
