That’s how I believe but if you go to any matpat video or really here too you see a lot of people try and disprove it

I mean sure, say whatever you want about Afton being a maniac but I mean perhaps CC’s death is what caused Afton to snap and build the Funtimes for murdering kids. Why would someone try to disprove that CC was first? Like I get aus in which Afton isn’t entirely devoid of humanity and maybe CB’s scooper could’ve been a security measure, but 1) what type of security is that? And 2) it’s non cannon anyway.

Hot Take: the Fnaf movie should’ve had Mike be William’s son and have the plot revolve around him (and not many others) knowing what atrocities his father committed. Abby can be the movies Elizabeth (since she technically already is). They could’ve done whatever with Garrett as I dint care for him as he’s kinda of a shitty plot point as why would Afton be in the woods and taken one out of three children? (Mike was probably still young enough for William to overpower in brute force considering will was younger then too, Abby might have been either nonexistent or 1ish years old at that point. He could’ve probably kidnapped at least Michael and Garrett).

Nah, I'm glad Mike Schmidt is his own separate character from Mike Afton in the movie universe, and that he, Abby, and Garret aren't related to William at all.

As for Abby, she seems to parallel Carlton from the novels more than she does Elizabeth (she literally did the same thing Carlton did at the end of The Fourth Closet) and Vanessa seems to be a parallel to both Elizabeth and Novel Charlotte (assuming the movies are going in the direction of Lizbot).

What I found very amusing about the movie, is that William Afton is pretty much Phone Guy (both gave Mike Schmidt a job and both got their asses handed to them at the end) and since the second movie is going to be a sequel, I can't wait see where it's going to go. XD

^^I like how the movies are separate from the games. I like how the story is kinda different so that nobody knows exactly what will happen. If the movie is just a repeat of the game events (or if it very closely follows it) then that'd be boring and predictable, if that makes sense,

I get where your coming from but we still don’t know much really about earlier fnaf (besides SotM). I mean I guess we shouldn’t try to use it to solve the games but it makes it more confusing to solve. And I mean it was a hot take. I’m not against the movie being in a seperate continuity than the games, it’s better that way.
