Im not directly saying that tales is noncanon or entirely untrue. (As I believe every story Made by scott sonehow is meant to explain a part of the games as a metaphor, or take place in the game...well, except into the flesh. I have no idea there)

But are we sure its the same exact tiger rock?

Like, if it said that the one in the books had a defect like a scar, And the plush had the same scar, I would be more Inclined to believe

But if theirs nothing connecting the two besides being the same type of animatronic, are we sure its the exact same animatronic? Is it one of a kind?

Tales Games is non-canon. Tiger Rock showing up is about as substantial as Purple Guy being William Afton. Yes the character is confirmed to exist in game canon but it doesn't mean literally everything else in Tales is canon. Not not mention Mimic dies in the books and he's clearly still alive as of Help Wanted 2 and Secret of The Mimic. There are a bunch of other reasons why but I know nothing I say will convince you otherwise. So I will agree to disagree and move on.

@St3elix809msm it doesn’t actually confirm talesgames, and imo talesgames is just the lazy way out, because several stories contradict the games..

@Michaellovescats282 off the top of my head: monty is mentioned to be a main animatronic in early stories, when it should be bonnie, we already know how glitchtrap got into the pizzaplex from the ar emails- which is different than the explanation in tales, the years in the mimic don’t match up, in tales steve was killed in the middle of making fnaf 4 but we know at least a sister location game was made, etc

1: By the early stories Bonnie was already dead.

2: The AR emails weren't how glitchtrap got into the PizzaPlex, it is how it got into the Fazbear Funtime service.
