I like to think that Fazbear Entertainment found the bodies and lied about it

We already know that they're fucked up and would do anything to stay afloat

Simply put, the bodies were in the suits but due to the fact that the police had no warrant (and the entire body was not really out of the suit), they couldn't legally check them.

And, had no hard evidence to prove its afton due to dna testing not being full scale at that time.

Which. If he also stuffed them while in spring bonnie, then their would be no DNA prints.

Sounds like skill issue to me.

Also, ain't no way no one managed to smell the stench of dead corpses coming from the animatronics.

Again, they could prove it was a dead body of a child or human.

For all they know, it could be mold or a animal, which back then there weren't as many animal protection laws iirc.

I don't think mold would smell as bad as a rotting corpse tbh
