I mean it could have been the puppet in the walls, and then the spirit of golden Freddy in the suit.
The only reason I assume this is because of the sound in the walls is described as slithering, which kind of resonates with the puppet having snake like arms. But the sound in the suit is described as scuttling, which could just be the spirit moving around inside
(Because otherwise, it does raise the question of why it produces that type noise. Although your explanation does make a lot of sense)
Uhm. It could've been the ghost of Andrew or something. Since we don't know when it really takes place and we already know that Andrew as a ghost loves to run around and scare the shit out of people.
(And with it being andrew, that would likely mean the story takes place after 1985 at least. Which would make sense with how modern the story feels. The only real question then , is if it is before or after the stitch wraith.)
