FNaF's legacy is in ruins now. Sure it had a couple great games, FNaF 1-6, maybe you would include HW if you want to, but after that the quality and lore got really bad, imo. Even after this dip in quality, people still loved the franchise's new games. People were clamouring for HW2, a mediocre game at best. It makes no sense. The newest game, Into The Pit, deserves to be treated like the best game ever, because it is a finely worked piece of art. But this is an outlier. The amount of slop that's come out these couple years has tarnished the FNaF franchise, but people still love these games. Security Breach, objectively the worst in the franchise, sold the most out of every FNaF game ever! They made roughly 51 million dollars off it! And now the god awful Five Laps at Freddys has been announced, and if you thought Garfield Kart Furious Racing was bad you need to get ready for this steaming pile of junk. I bet it could run on a mobile phone. The models look okay, pretty kawaii, but the environment and lighting is an eyesore. Don't even get me started on the atrocious AR game, where if you close the game during the tutorial you get softlocked permanently whenever you try to reenter. And microtransactions. Can't forget about the amount of microtransactions.
In conclusion, people need to stop saying these shit games are good. Steel Wool and Clickteam will keep pumping out this stuff, and it'll get worse and worse.
