my theory is that after Jeremy was bitten, he was found in a coma in the morning, and since the workers didn't think it would be the whitereds since he was in a closet, they would have thought it was the Toys, obviously this is just my opinion..

Unless the one that did the bite was a working animatronic, if it bit someone them they would just clean it up.

Few problems with that

1. Her mouth is broken for the whole game

2. Phone guy says that the toys are still allowed to walk around during the day on NIGHT 1

3. If the bite happened at night time they would stop them from being able to move around entirely, not just during the day

4. We've said before, if a withered did it, the withereds would be scrapped and not the toys
