I KNOW that Springtrap was a murderer before, but Nightmare Fredbear has so much more brutality/slasher potential

Nightmare Fredbear, ennard and springtrap are the only reasonable choices out of these that would fit DBD aesthetics. Vanny is too little known, freddy just doesn't fit, and puppet doesn't really fit the slasher vibe also.

Springtrap is the main killer of the franchise, it's more than likely that they pick him. Also because he is the type of guy that would chase you around while do you imagine how strange would be being chased by freddy fazbear running behind you? The puppet is not even a bad entity, vanny is not as popular as springtrap and N. fredbear and ennard are barely known outside of the community.

Also, from the little I know about DBD "The entity" uses the worst people full of evil to keep torturing survivals or something like that. Gabriel is not evil. Any kills he does is either because he and the others "are like animals" or because william is controlling him
