I personally think he's Agony.
Some think he was made by Eleanor
"It's possible that the animatronic Eleanor is a source of Agony that somehow gained sentience, with its sole nature being to cause chaos and destruction." As seen on the Agony page. and also
"Agony is capable of being spread like an infection, whether it be through people's suffering being put onto an object, or a literal infection that can be transferred through inflicted injury by an Agony infused object." So in those words, Pit Bonnie could be The Missing Children's agony/ how they see William.
Dammit I meant agony
A mixture of Afton's Remnant and agony and the MCI’s memories
I have (not really serious) theory that its some kind of demon. We know that some kind of afterlife exists in the fnaf universe, so why cant it have demons. And why it is there? Idk. Also rember, the fnaf lore its what you convince the other people it is. I havent played the game yet btw so this is what I accept until I play it.
The game does not support that theory
@Ukwiecony Ogon That wouldn't really make sense but okay.
WARNING: Really long Repost:
So, what Oswald sees in the pit is assumed to be some sort of remnant/agony pocket dimension that is based on the memories of the people that visited, worked at, and died at Freddy’s. Presumably the victims of William Afton. But some of the voice lines from Nightmare Springyboi suggest that perhaps it's not just the victims, but also their killer.
There are two lines that I want to focus on:
"Even if I don't get you now, I always come back."
"I always come back." Is usually associated with Afton, he says it in FNAF 6, in his distorted Help Wanted and Princess Quest audio, "I'm back" in AR, and finally there's a cut phone call in the files of Into the Pit where you can call Afton. This call can be restored with code editing software.
This is a calling card of sorts for him. We also know that in one other story, Afton is barely alive in a hospital. It is possible that his spirit is or was somehow bound to the ball pit.
The second is: "I'll make you suffer, just like I did."
Afton DIED at Freddy’s due to a Springlock failure, a horrifying and painful experience. We hear Afton's death in an Easter egg with the phone.
This audio fits very well over what we see in FNAF 3
We also know that Afton was stuck in the secret safe room, probably IN agony for over 30 years, was burned twice and the restless spirit won't let him die so it would make sense that he would be angry. He might have even forgotten what it was like before he was stuck in the suit. Which is why the yellow rabbit is seemingly bonded to the suit as an organic creature rather than just a man in a suit. TMITS Goji style. {Side note: Highly recommended "The Man in the Suit" by Unknowingly. Excellent Godzilla analog horror!}
Furthermore, as stated on his wiki page, the memories of Afton's victims also probably warped his appearance further. Turning Spring Bonnie from just another mascot suit into something that wouldn't be out of place in FNAF 4 or "The Twisted Ones". Even if Afton himself doesn't see himself that way, with Michael and his victims being "Wretched, rotten, little beasts." Ungrateful of the "gifts" he's given them.
However, Afton’s personally has varied even in official depictions. But almost every official version of him share certain aspects: being arrogant, manipulative, cruel, vindictive, egotistical and sadistic towards his victims. No matter if he's sympathetic or not, one thing remains constant: William Afton is an irredeemable monster! For what he has done have, as Henry once said: "the darkest pit of Hell has opened to swallow you whole, so don't keep the Devil waiting, old friend." The Yellow Rabbit/Pittrap is Afton in his purest form: A monster in a rabbit's skin. Something disguised as something innocent in order to lure its victims to their deaths. Only when we see what lies beneath do we truly know what it is and understand how monstrous it actually is.
Is he actually William Afton? Yes and no. He probably has all of Afton's memories and skills. Thus how he can drive a car and simulate being human. Oswald's house likely used to be Afton's house. In more cut content we see an unused bloody knife sprite for a bench in the basement. That's why Pittrap brings Oswald home. Because it was Afton's home many decades ago.
But physically it's not him. It's sort of a Glitchtrap situation where he probably has all of Afton's memories, personality, possibly even his remnant and agony. But In the end, he's a simulation of Afton. One caused by the pain and suffering of himself and his victims, the other created by the Mimic's programming scanning in Scraptrap's circuits.
And now watch Steelwool ruin me by releasing "Secret of The Mimic" and forcing me back to square one. But anyway, I think with Pittrap and the Ball Pit itself is sort of a Nightmare on Elmstreet kind of deal, but on a somewhat larger scale. If you die in the pit world, you die for real. If you pick up something in the pit world you can take it into the real world. Any damages or alterations Freddy’s sustains in the pit world, Jeff's sustains in the real world. This explains why Oswald is able to freely bring objects and even creatures like a rat to and from the pit world into reality.
But what do you guys think? Do you think Pittrap is at least partially created from Afton’s pain and suffering? Or just that of his victims. Let me know in the replies bellow.
Yeah chat
Pretty sure it's remnant and agony from both
We already know that ball pit is full of agony, so
Yeah
What do you think?
