Chapter 2 available here
It was already past midnight, and Gregory still hadn't managed to leave the Pizzaplex. He watched in utter horror as the clock on the desk turned to midnight. He knew the Pizzaplex had locked their doors tight, meaning he couldn't escape. He had only one option left- wait until Freddy could find him and hide away for the rest of the night. He had to be able to communicate with him as well, which is EXACTLY why he had the FazWatch. He turned the watch on and used the call option for Freddy.
"Freddy! I'm in a pickle. I didn't make it out of the Pizzaplex in time. Monty is outside of the Security office I'm in right now. What do I do?!" Gregory exclaimed.
"You didn't make it out?! We are in a pickle indeed. We need a Plan B. Listen, I assume you're in the Security Office just outside the Utility Tunnels and by the exit. Offices always have more than one way in and out. There should be a door directly across the one you came in through. Do you see it?" Freddy instructed. There was, indeed, a second metal door directly across the way he came in.
"Yes! I see it. Anything else I need?" Gregory replied.
"Well, there may be a way to connect your FazWatch to the security camera system now that you are here. There should be a small red button on the desk like the ones by the door, except that they are currently green. Press the button now so your watch will connect," Freddy answered. Gregory followed Freddy's instructions and another tab popped up on his FazWatch. He had access to the security camera system.
"Excellent. Now, get out of there!" Freddy exclaimed. After he said that, the call ended. Gregory ran out of the second door and it locked behind him just as Monty got the first door open. Gregory turned left out of the office, ran down a short walkway, turned left again, and ended up at a left or right junction. The floors were a shiny-gray concrete. The walls were gray on the bottom half. The top half was a construction orange. The two halves of the wall were separated by checkered linings. Gregory ran around the square-formation hallways and ended up at a pair of red double doors. The doors led directly to the Main Lobby. The Lobby had sleek black floor tiles, metal red walls illuminated by pink and blue neon lights, and, sometimes, checkered tiles or carpets. The area where the front door was supposed to be was blocked off by a roll-up door with decorations of Freddy on them. Gregory ran up to the door and banged on them in a last-ditch effort to get attention.
"Hello? Is anyone still there? I'm still here! Hello?! HELLO?!" Gregory yelled out as he pounded on the metal. Eventually, his fist began to hurt. The side of his right hand that had the pinky was throbbing in pain, and it was red all over.
"You won't find anyone still there, Gregory," Freddy said from the FazWatch.
"So now what?! The recharge for you isn't over yet. I don't know where ANY of the animatronics are. Last I saw Monty, he was in the office when he banged down the door," Gregory fumed.
"The only reason he got the door to open was because it ran out of emergency power. The other door had plenty. He is likely headed back to Monty Golf, his attraction. He spends most of his time there. Sometimes he will pay the Daycare and theater a visit. But unless there is some kind of major event, you likely will not see him outside that room. Roxy could be anywhere. Did you see her?" Freddy asked.
"Well, yes. She was trying to get to me, but she got caught behind a locked gate back in the Utility tunnels," Gregory replied.
"Hmm... so all of them are compromised. This confirms my fears. Roxy usually stays in the Atrium or the Upper Levels, and her own attraction. I don't think she would immediately come down to the Lobby. Have you seen Chica?" Freddy explained.
"I saw her eating from trash in the bathroom next to your recharge station. I don't know where she went after that," Gregory said.
"Eating from trash? That is most unusual. Chica has been caught on a number of occasions eating from the trash compactor, but she got covered in trash. She only ever consumed wasted food from there. I DID notice her come back through the way you went. She was clearly in search of you. If you see her, be cautious. Chica DOES frequent the Lower Levels. She visits multiple other areas as well. Be careful," Freddy warned.
But as Freddy was speaking, Gregory heard the sound of an elevator in the near distance open. He glanced up at the pair of elevators at the top of some escalators and stairs.
Chica was standing outside the lifts. And she had hunger in her uncanny purple eyes.

Little more than ten minutes after she had been shocked, Vanessa was still sprawled out on the floor. She was recovering from when he was possessing her to seize control of the animatronics. She briefly gasped for air, before standing up and staggering over to the Stage Control Room between Rockstar Row and the Atrium. She opened a door, walked up a metallic set of stairs before ending up in a concrete-floored room with several rows of panels and screens. She stumbled over to one of the computers and sat down in a chair. This room could also serve as a Security office, due to its ample access to the security camera system.
The screen in front of Vanessa activated on its own and it began to project the image of a rabbit with the build of a human. The rabbit resembled a suit more than an actual rabbit. His face was frozen into a plastered grin, his 'fur' was golden-yellow with some bright yellow spots on his torso, lower face, and ears, he spotted a purple jacket with stars printed on it, and a bow-tie of similar design.
"Vanny. Have you met your goal yet?" the rabbit demanded. His voice was that cold, deep, English raspy voice that Vanessa had when he was possessing her.
"It's past midnight. Gregory is still here. The animatronics are hunting him as we speak, but he is receiving the help of one, I think..." Vanessa replied.
"Oh, really? WHO?!" The rabbit demanded. His demeanor heated up and his voice got sharper and colder. His essence was like frostbite- you couldn't figure out if you were on fire or freezing to death.
"I suspect that Freddy may be assisting the boy. When he shut down on stage, I think it was because of you. The other animatronics are under our control, but he might not be. The two events are definitely connected. If there is anything you want me to do, then I will assist," Vanessa offered.
The Rabbit responded with an amused chuckle, which turned to a cackle of hilarity.
"Thank you for your offer, Officer Vanessa. However, I kindly reject your offer. I will take it from here."
Immediately, he stretched his right hand from the screen out into the real world. The entire arm had stitches running along from the underside of the elbow to the palm of the hand. The stitches popped off his arm and a purple light began to engulf the room. An unseen force pushed Vanessa down to her knees. Then, the purple light was sucked from the air into Vanessa's eyes. Her bright green eyes turned red in an instant.
The possessed Security Guard stood up from the floor. From her holster, she pulled out a large knife. The blade had a red tint at the very bottom, where it met the handle. That was the place where she hadn't been able to clean quite as well as the rest of the blade after she slew her victims for their Essence.
Vanessa laughed with a sinister tone. Her voice sounded different from her natural voice. This voice sounded more sinister, more electronic in a way, and more hungry than a typical evil laugh. She bent down and looked under the desk with the computer. There was a locked box she kept under her security desk. She entered the code and the black, rectangular box snapped open. After Vanessa lifted the lid, she reached into the box and withdrew a full-body white hare costume she sewed together, which came with a mask that covered the entire head. There were multiple patches all over but it was more than enough. The white hare costume had a cotton ball that was supposed to be the tail. The ears were long and pink on the inside. The eyes were big and a vibrant red, with black irises in the middle. The costume also had a black nose and whiskers. There was a blue ribbon attached to the collar area. Quickly, Vanessa dressed into this bunny costume and equipped her knife. As she put the costume on, the red eyes on the mask began to glow. Vanny had woken up.
"Well, well, well... it's time to have fun! Where are you, Gregory?" Vanny catcalled out loud. It was then when Chica walked into the room. Her blank, uncanny eyes were staring into space. Her beak was slightly ajar. This was a sign of his control over her.
"Freddy is not with the boy. The network says Monty attacked him while he was alone!" Chica said.
"Where?" Vanny demanded.
"The Utility Tunnels. Monty chased the boy to the Security Office there!" Chica replied. Vanny grinned. She had an exact idea where Gregory could be.
"Bring him to me."
~~~
Gregory looked on nervously as Chica walked out of the elevator. As she walked out, he took a mad dash to a secluded underpass where the gates were. He ducked behind one of the metal gates, which had an image of Freddy engraved into it via holes.
"Is everything alright? You stopped speaking. Your breathing tells me you have been running," Freddy asked in a concerned manner.
"It's Chica! She just came out of an elevator! I think she's looking for me," Gregory panted.
"Oh... this is not good. You need to get in to the Pizzaplex. Once you find a Security Office, you can steal a clearance card and go up the elevators. Once you make it back to the Atrium, sneak back to Rockstar Row. If you can't, hide near the Main Stage and I will come get you," Freddy instructed.
"How do I get in?! There's turnstiles and gates all over and they're locked!" Gregory demanded.
"To get in, you need an Entrance Pass. There is one not too far from you. Before the next day we always put one free Entrance Pass down for anyone to get on a table in front of a cardboard cutout of the bandmates. It is at the other end of the lobby, from where you came out of the Utility Tunnels. Retrieve the Pass and make your way through the lobby," Freddy replied.
Gregory followed Freddy's instructions and immediately ran toward the direction in which Freddy claimed the Entrance Pass was. True to his word, on the table, there was a slip of paper that served as the Entrance Pass.
"Found it! I should be able to go in through the Underpass with the gates," Gregory whispered.
"Yes. I believe that entrance will provide you the most cover," Freddy agreed. Gregory walked over to the Underpass and used the pass to open the metal gates. Then, once he entered the lobby, he got a better view of the area.
Across from him was a pink, curved building with many large windows on the top and bottom. Through the windows on top, he could make out a restaurant. The windows on the bottom revealed a room with many ATM-like machines, racks for purchases, and a front desk. That had to be Customer Service. There was a doorway that lead into Customer Service but it was blocked off by a black metal gate.
"Okay. In front of me, there's a building with a restaurant and a Customer Service area. I need to get in. Is there a way I can?" Gregory questioned.
"Of course! Up the escalators, you can enter the Faz-Pad, the restaurant. Then, in the far right of the room, there is a door that leads the kitchen. There is another door on the left side of the kitchen from the entrance that will take you down a stairway to Customer Service. Once you are there, you can use the machines to get yourself a pass to the Pizzaplex," Freddy instructed. Gregory nodded his head.
"Alright, I'm doing this."
Gregory ran out from the Underpass, past Chica and another one of those Security drones, and up a set of stairs on the right side of the Lobby. Fortunately, Chica was too distracted eating a garbage pile by a fountain with a golden statue of Freddy in the middle of the Lobby floor. The bots could not see anyone unless they detected them with flashlights they held. As Gregory made it to the top of the stairs, he ended up on a purple carpeted floor. Between the middle of all the escalators and stairs and the two elevators, there were four bright blue photo booths with orange curtains, each backed up against each other and facing a different direction. This was a good hiding spot. Gregory ran to the left, ran through the restaurant and down the stairs like Freddie instructed him to. He ended up inside of a hallway with white bricks as the wall and sleek concrete floors. Then, he opened a green door to his left and ended up behind the front desk in Customer Service.
"Did you make it? If so, you need to break the machine open and get the Daycare pass. This pass gives you access to the Daycare on this floor. In the playpen, there should be a security desk with a Level One clearance pass. This will give you access to the elevators leading back up to the Atrium," Freddy said. But before he could say anymore, he was abruptly cut off by a disturbance on Gregory's end.
The locked gates to Customer Service were being banged on. The metallic clanging elevated through the lobby. The culprit? None other than Chica. With trash stains all over her and a hungry look in her otherwise blank eyes, in the moment, she looked monstrous.
"Gregory! There you are. Come on out and play!" Chica sung. She began to rattle the gate. It wasn't long before the hinges fell right off.
