It was either symbolizing how William likely demonized Henry to the public's eye in order to get suspicion off his back, and in the end them burning together was some sort of FFPS reference(?)

It might've just been Scott crying about cancel culture and how he got cancelled on Twitter

Either one works, but I think I see why the book was originally scrapped

2019-20 was when the stories were written so it’s impossible for this to be about Scott’s cancellation

This story was actually wrote for a book of one/two years ago if I remember well so it's totally possible that it's scott venting and honestly, he isn't wrong.

Like, I know that he did some shitty things, but many people on this Fandom just try to find any way to create controversies with him and cancell

I admit I have yet to read the whole thing but labeling it Scott's vent fic just seems kinda rude. No matter what he was thinking about when he came up with it, it feels rude. The story seems pretty interesting like, if it weren't part of a FNAF series, I think people would be fine with it. A lot of problems people have are exaggerated (Like I've seen people saying the devil shows up, but he doesn't, a demon-shaped cloud poofs up for a sec after Drew dies though). But again, I haven't read all of it, hoping to correct that soon.
