FNAF Security Breach is the most disappointing and worst FNAF game up to date. I’ll list all the things I dislike about the game.
#1 The Style
The Style of Security Breach is extremely inconsistent. It can look like TF2, then look like CSGO, then look like Alien Isolation. There seemed to be no set style, which makes the game look taped together.
#2 The Bugs
We all knew this was coming, but the amount of bugs is awful. The game is poorly optimized, and lags a lot on Playstations. We already know all of the bugs, so we don’t need to spend much time here.
#3 The Child-Appeal
This right here is the downward spiral of pain FNAF has been going through. Lines about blood were removed from the actual game, not only that, all of the animatronics, the mall, are extremely colorful, even the backrooms of the mall have color.
#4 Pre-planning Stages
During Dawko’s interview, Steelwool had said they were cramming things in as they went on. That’s not how you make a video game. There were no pre-planning stages of the game. If you really want something to be added, but can’t, then don’t do it, because in the end it’ll look taped in.
#5 The Story
This is by far the worst thing about this game. I have no idea what the Hell is happening in this game. Somehow, Gregory randomly ends up in Freddy’s stomach. And somehow Gregory knows Vanessa wants to kill him. This is never explained. I know FNAF is known for not explaining things, but these are things which should be explained in-game, not later in another game. It’s never explained why the animatronics want to kill Gregory. The Scorchtrap Ending has to be the stupidest thing to come out of these games. For some damn reason, FNAF 6 is apparently under the PizzaPlex, and looks still intact after being burnt to the ground. How is FNAF 6 under the PizzaPlex? Apparently (From what I’ve heard), FNAF 6 was built over a sinkhole, which is just flat out dumb. And Henry’s sacrifice meant literally nothing. Remember the emotional speech at the end of FNAF 6? Meant nothing, because they all survived the fire. Apparently, Afton survived because he was in a suit charger, which didn’t even exist in FNAF 6, so that was retconned. And somehow, Afton is now literally purple. Afton being purple in the minigames was to be a metaphor to represent how shady Afton was, purple isn’t his theme color. Somehow, Molten Freddy survived, and has animatronics in him which weren’t even in FNAF 6.
Conclusion:
This game is awful. From the bugs, to the story, it’s all bad. It was a major disappointment.
