Something was changing. Eleanor’s human disguise was disintegrating. The dark, curly hair fell from her scalp but disappeared before it hit the floor. The healthy-looking pink-tinged flesh on her face melted away to reveal a thin layer of sickly gray skin. Dr. Talbert drew back in horror. Eleanor’s huge, dead eyes bulged, and her red-stained mouth gaped, revealing the vicious zigzag of her teeth. She looked at Jake, her eyes pulsating, her unhinged jaw opening wide.

That was my favorite part! Just- the way they wrote the transformation was just awesome! Flesh melting off of her body, revealing sick, gray skin? Pulsating, dead eyes? A blood-stained mouth with zigzag teeth? Pulsating, dead eyes? BALD? That sounds horrifying! Why hasn't anyone drawn Eleanor like that? I NEED ELEANOR FANART LIKE THAT!!!
