But even if he did intentionally mess with the lights...so what?
The animatronics think Jeremy is the enemy.
People get upset when people forget that Gregory is a child despite his morally gray actions.
Wouldn't the same apply for BB if he really is messing with the lights on purpose? He would be doing what it takes to survive (or for other people to survive).
