- - - BEGINNING - - -
Once Spring Bonnie finished his conversation with Fredbear, he made his way to the main hall.
The rabbit's poor mind was overfilled with nothing but concerns.
So many ominous secrets were surrounding his cherished diner.
''Ever since Mr. Emily left us, everything started going downhill... One tragedy struck after the other... A boy got murdered... Spring Foxy was decommissioned... And now, people are disappearing... Why is this happening?'' Spring Bonnie thought to himself.
Before the rabbit could enter the kitchen, he slowly turned his head towards the elevator's entrance.
Even though he didn't want to enter the underground factory, he still wanted to figure out what was going on.
''Is there really nothing I can do to help...? I don't want to just stand here, waiting for someone else to die! I have to do something... But... What, exactly?'' Spring Bonnie asked himself, as he rubbed the back of his head.
And yet, the rabbit couldn't come up with a reasonable solution to his problems.
Perhaps talking with Mr. Afton would have been the best course of action.
However, it seemed that even him was trying to hide something.
''Hmm... Well, I guess I could ask Endo if he has anything to share about this matter. Let's see what he's up to.'' The rabbit said, in a low tone.
After that, he turned his head back to the kitchen's door, and opened it.
Endo-01 was busy cleaning one of the tables in the room.
Once the endoskeleton noticed Spring Bonnie, he rapidly gave him an affectionate smile.
''Hi, Bonnie! How are you doing today?'' Endo-01 said, while staring at the rabbit.
Spring Bonnie waved at the endoskeleton, as he smiled back at him.
''I'm pretty good, thank you for asking. Also, wasn't Chica supposed to be in here too? Where did she run off to?'' The animatronic replied, with a cheery expression on his face.
Endo-01 shrugged in response.
''Uh... Actually, I don't know either. She probably went to get another broom from the supply closet, since one of them was kinda broken... Do you need to tell her something?'' The endoskeleton said.
Lucky for the rabbit, he wasn't interested about her.
''No, not really. To tell you the truth, I wanted to talk with none other than you, Endo. I wouldn't want to bother you though, so...'' He replied, in a friendly tone.
Endo-01 shook his head.
''I don't mind at all. I was almost done anyway, so go ahead and tell me whatever you want!'' He said, while smiling at Spring Bonnie.
The rabbit was pleased to hear that.
''Oh, okay then. I just wanted to know if you could tell me something about the employees who have recently gone missing.'' He replied, waiting for the endoskeleton's answer.
As soon as Spring Bonnie mentioned them, Endo-01 immediately went silent.
He was caught a little off guard by the rabbit's question.
''... Uh... Well... Sorry, but I don't know much about this topic... However, it's definitely weird that some of those people have vanished into thin air, for no apparent reason.'' The endoskeleton said, in a troubled manner.
Spring Bonnie looked down on the floor, seeming rather upset.
However, before he could say anything else...
''I'm not sure if this might be related to it or not, but... A few days ago, I overheard two technicians complaining about a bunch of... tasks that they couldn't accomplish, in the underground facility.'' Endo-01 added.
After hearing those words, the rabbit became quite curious.
''Really...? Could you please tell me what kind of tasks they were talking about?'' Spring Bonnie asked, as he waited for an answer.
The endoskeleton rubbed the back of his neck, for a brief moment.
''Uhm... Sadly, I didn't understand every single word they muttered to eachother... But, they both sounded... scared.'' He replied, while crossing his arms.
Spring Bonnie didn't say a word, as he paid attention to the endoskeleton's dialogue.
''I believe the two of them were afraid of getting close to something in particular... However, if they refused to do so... Mrs. Afton would have certainly gotten mad at them, and... possibly fired them as well.'' Endo-01 added, in a muddled tone.
The rabbit rubbed his own chin.
''... It sounds like William's wife was forcing those technicians to perform a decent amount of unknown tasks... And they clearly were not okay with it, for some reason... I wonder why there were so scared, though...'' Spring Bonnie thought to himself.
What could have possibly been the cause of such terror?
The rabbit was beginning to suspect something.
''I see... Thank you for filling me in, Endo. This may be a fundamental piece of evidence to support my previous theory.'' Spring Bonnie said, as he glanced at Endo-01.
He then stared at the clock located on one of the kitchen's walls, noticing that the place was about to open.
''Oh shoot! I better go now. See you later, buddy!'' The rabbit said, while rushing out of the room.
Endo-01 waved at him, as he ran away.
''Take care of yourself, Bonnie. And... Try to stay out of trouble, okay?'' The endoskeleton replied, in a cordial tone.
Meanwhile, William Afton was right outside of Fredbear's Family Diner, making his way to the main entrance.
