After learning the truth about what happened to a few workers of Fredbear's Family Diner, Spring Bonnie headed towards the parts and service room, to meet Endo-01.
He then grabbed the door's handle, and pushed it forward, allowing himself to get inside.
Strangely enough, the endoskeleton in question was nowhere to be seen.
Where could he have gone to?
''Endo? Are you in here? It's me, Spring Bonnie! Where are you hiding, buddy?'' The rabbit asked, as he hoped to receive an answer.
Unfortunately, the endoskeleton did not appear.
Spring Bonnie was starting to feel distinctly concerned.
''If you are looking for Endo, I'm afraid you won't find him in here, Bonnie.'' A familiar voice spoke, from behind the rabbit.
Once he heard those words, Spring Bonnie proceeded to turn around, right away.
As soon as the rabbit did so, he glanced at another animatronic, who was currently standing in front of him.
''He should be in the kitchen now, mopping the floor alongside Chica. But, before you go there... I'd like to have a little conversation with good old Mr. Hoppers.'' Fredbear said, as he smiled at Spring Bonnie.
After saying that, the bear gently closed the door behind him.
''Who is th- Oh wait, you're talking about me, aren't you? Hehe... Of course, Fred. What would you like to talk about then?'' The rabbit replied, with a joyful expression on his face.
Fredbear crossed his arms, while keeping his eyes on Spring Bonnie.
''The fact is... I couldn't help but overhear what you said to Plush, a couple of minutes ago. So, tell me... Have you actually encountered an unknown creature, loitering inside the main hall's elevator?'' The animatronic asked, in a serious manner.
At that very moment, Spring Bonnie's expression abruptly changed, as he nervously tried to look elsewhere.
He clearly didn't want his best friend to be concerned.
''... Well... I... I'm not entirely sure, at this point... Maybe, it was only an hallucination, or... something like that, I guess? I really don't know...'' The rabbit replied, while slowly shaking his head.
Once he finished talking, Fredbear rubbed his own chin, with his right hand.
A few seconds later, the bear came up with a curious theory.
''As I recall, you previously said the creature didn't resemble an animal... It was something completely different, wasn't it? But, since neither the employees nor customers are currently here, there is only one way to explain this... Do you know what I mean?'' Fredbear said.
Spring Bonnie silently looked away, as he thoroughly reflected on a proper answer.
Eventually, he managed to remind himself about what Funtime Puppet told him, earlier on.

''Now, to answer your second question... This factory specializes in constructing machines, like us. However, that's not all there is to it... From what I heard, the place was also created for various testing purposes.''
= = =
''That's right... How could I forget that? And when I asked him if there were any animatronics living in that place, he said...'' The rabbit muttered to himself.
= = =
''Hm... To tell you the truth, I have never considered such a possibility before... However, it certainly sounds plausible.''

It seemed that Spring Bonnie had finally realized what the truth was.
He then directed his gaze upon Fredbear, once again.
''... What I saw was... an animatronic? Is that what you want me to say, Fred?'' The rabbit replied, in a preoccupied manner.
Fredbear simply nodded.
''Precisely. Although, something tells me they were not supposed to be inside that elevator... We should definitely inform Mr. Afton about this issue.'' He said, while briefly turning his head away.
After that, Spring Bonnie walked closer to the bear.
''Yeah, that sounds like a good idea... But... What about the employees who have gone missing? Do you... know anything about what happened to them?'' The rabbit asked, with a worried expression on his face.
Fredbear then stared right back at Spring Bonnie, and shook his head.
''Frankly, I don't have the slightest clue. However, I got a bad feeling about this... It kinda sounds like... Mr. Afton is hiding something from us.'' The bear replied, in a troubled tone.
The rabbit appeared to be extremely confused.
''Huh...? What is that supposed to mean? Do you actually think he could've been involved with those disappearances? No, I refuse to believe that! There has to be another explanation!'' Spring Bonnie shouted.
''Wh- No, of course not! I'm just saying... He might know something that we don't. But, that's not all there is to it... In the past months, I noticed something a little... unusual.'' Fredbear replied, trying to stay focused.
The rabbit stood quiet, letting the bear speak.
''Basically, some of the technicians have been acting rather strange... Especially around Mrs. Afton. It's probably just me, however... At certain times, it almost felt like... they were concealing something from William.'' The bear added, as he rubbed his own neck.
That was quite an intriguing theory, for sure.
Or, perhaps calling it an assumption would have been more appropriate.
Spring Bonnie lowered his head, not knowing how to respond.
''That woman is scheming something, Bonnie. If we don't keep our eyes open, there is no telling what could happen next...'' Fredbear said, in a low tone.
After doing so, the bear softly placed his left hand on the rabbit's right shoulder.
''... So... You think she is responsible for what occurred to those people?'' Spring Bonnie replied, as he lifted his head back up.
''Maybe... Maybe not... We shouldn't rush to any hasty conclusions, until we gather more info about these events... But I have no doubts that whoever, or whatever was inside this underground facility, is to blame.'' Fredbear said, while letting the rabbit go.
Once the bear finished talking, he turned around and opened the door which lead to the dining room.
Before leaving, he quickly turned his head back to Spring Bonnie.
''As it turns out... This diner is not as perfect as I thought it was...'' Fredbear added, as he walked out of the parts and service room.
The rabbit didn't reply, feeling highly discouraged.
It seems there were plenty of abnormal mysteries to unfold.
