Spring Bonnie carefully walked towards the main hall's elevator, while making sure that nobody was around to notice him.
Once he reached it, he quietly stood in front of the entrance, which was currently closed by two metallic doors.
From what it looked like, there seemed to be no way for him to get inside.
''Mmm... Just as I thought... They're not opening. But, maybe if... Wait, what is that?'' Spring Bonnie thought to himself, as he noticed a small screen on the left side of the wall.
The rabbit proceeded to immediately approach the peculiar device.
There were several numbers on display, as well as four thin lines, located on top of them.
''Oh, this looks very familiar. I think it's supposed to be some kind of security measure.'' He said, in a soft manner.
After that, Spring Bonnie pressed one of the numbers that appeared on the monitor.
However, nothing seemed to change.
The rabbit then clicked on three other random numbers, wondering if the doors would actually open.
But sadly, that was not the case.
A few seconds later, Spring Bonnie moved his face away from the screen, feeling quite dejected.
''Aw... Well, there is no doubt about it... If I want to get through, I'll have to type in a specific combination of numbers. The question is... How do I figure it out?'' He asked himself, while rubbing his own chin.
Apparently, a code made out of four numbers was required, in order to access the elevator.
Nevertheless, even if Spring Bonnie knew exactly what to type, this was still a restricted area.
In fact, only a few employees were allowed to enter the underground facility.
If he went inside said place without authorization, he would have indubitably been punished.
''... On second thoughts... Maybe, it's better if I stay out of there. After all, I wouldn't want to upset Mr. Afton.'' The rabbit thought to himself.
He then turned his head to the right, glancing at the elevator's doors.
''But... That doesn't mean I don't want to find out what's hiding in that place. Hm... What could I possibly do?'' Spring Bonnie asked himself.
Then, all of a sudden...
The rabbit heard a mysterious sound, coming from the elevator.
''Huh...? What was that noise...? It sounded like... somebody was laughing...?'' He said, as he slowly walked forward.
Spring Bonnie looked through one of the doors' window, wondering who might be in there.
The glass was rather soiled, and the inside of the elevator was incredibly dark.
''... Hello? Uh... Is anyone there? Can you please show yourself...?'' The rabbit said, while keeping his eyes on the window.
Strangely enough, no one replied.
Spring Bonnie moved his face a little closer, trying to get a better view.
Although, nothing seemed to be different.
Until...
The rabbit gasped, as he promptly backed away from the elevator's entrance.
He then tripped, and clumsily fell on his back.
Once Spring Bonnie made sure that nothing was broken, he proceeded to get right back up, and stare through the window once again.
However, there was nothing out of the norm, this time.
''Wh- What was that?!'' The rabbit thought to himself, as he steadily moved away from the elevator.
A few moments later, Spring Chica walked out of the dining room's door.
She then instantly turned her head to Spring Bonnie.
''... Bonnie? Did you just let out a scream? What the heck happened?'' The chicken asked, with a serious expression on her face.
After that, the rabbit turned his head to her.
''Uhm... Yeah! I am... fine. That was... I think it came from outside the diner! You should probably take a look, Chica.'' He replied, while trying to compose himself.
Spring Chica appeared to be a little skeptical.
Despite that, she decided to turn around, and walk away.
Right afterwards, Spring Bonnie slowly turned his head towards the elevator.
He seemed quite troubled, and somewhat afraid.
What kind of entities might be lurking under Fredbear's Family Diner?
