- - - BEGINNING - - -
It was early in the morning at the lovely city of New Harmony, and Fredbear's Family Diner had yet to open its doors to the public.
The animatronics were making sure that everything within the place was in order, while they patiently waited for everyone else to arrive.
Spring Bonnie was in the dining room, decorating the walls and tables with various Halloween tools, such as jack-o'-lanterns, paper bats, and blanket ghosts.
He seemed very excited about celebrating the upcoming holiday.
''And... There we go! That should do it.'' The animatronic said to himself, while looking around the room.
He had a big smile on his face, being proud of his work.
A few seconds later, the rabbit suddenly heard someone else's voice calling to him, from behind.
As quickly as he could, Spring Bonnie turned himself around, directing his gaze at whoever was in front of him.
''Ah... Looks like I finally found you, Bon-Bon. What are you doing in here all by yourself? The others were starting to get a bit worried, y'know.'' Spring Chica said, as she entered the dining room from the main hall's door.
The rabbit rubbed the back of his head, feeling sort of embarassed.
''Oh, sorry about that. It was definitely not my intention... I was pretty busy decorating the place for Halloween!'' Spring Bonnie replied, in a cheerful manner.
As soon as he mentioned it, Spring Chica noticed how different the dining room looked.
She appeared to be a little surprised by this sudden change.
''... Uh... Halloween? But... Isn't it a little too... early for that kind of stuff? I mean... October began only a few days ago, after all.'' The animatronic said, with a muddled expression on her face.
Spring Bonnie shrugged in response.
''Heh! You're probably right. But, I personally think there is nothing wrong with celebrating it a bit in advance. Plus, imagine how happy the children will be, once they get to see all of this!'' He replied, as he gave Spring Chica a warm smile.
The chicken remained silent, for a brief moment.
She then chuckled to herself.
''Oh well... You might have a point there. However, you should've probably asked for Mr. Afton's permission, before turning the entire dining room into a horror movie set.'' Spring Chica said, in a playful tone.
Spring Bonnie seemed sort of perturbed, after hearing the chicken's words.
''Darn... Now that I think about it, she is right. I should've talked to him first! Ugh... It must have slipped from my mind...'' He thought to himself.
The chicken crossed her arms, waiting for Spring Bonnie's answer.
However, he was starting to get quite worried.
''So... Do you think he is going to get mad at me? I really didn't mean to cause any trouble... I just... thought the customers might like it, that's all...'' The animatronic replied, as he looked down on the floor.
Spring Chica smiled at the rabbit.
''No, that's not what I was trying to say, Bonnie. To be honest, I actually think he's gonna love it! But, next time... I highly suggest you wait for his approval first. Did I make myself clear enough?'' She said, attempting to cheer Spring Bonnie up.
The rabbit proceeded to stare right back at her.
He was quite reassured by Spring Chica's kind words.
''If that's fine with you, we can ask him together, as soon as he walks inside the diner. What do you say?'' She added, while putting her left hand on Spring Bonnie's right shoulder.
After listening to Spring Chica's proposition, the rabbit nodded in agreement.
''That would be great! Thank you very much, Chica! You always know the right thing to do!'' Spring Bonnie replied, in a delighted manner.
Spring Chica was pleased to hear that from him.
''Pfft... Don't mention it. I'm always glad to be of assistance, especially to a precious friend like you, Bonnie.'' The chicken said, with a content expression on her face.
The rabbit kindly smiled at her.
Spring Chica then turned around, and began walking towards the main hall's door.
''Well then, how about we inform the others about what you've done? I am veeeery curious to find out what kind of reactions they'll have.'' Spring Chica added, while snickering to herself.
Spring Bonnie nodded, as he walked right by her side.
''Of course! I can't wait to see the looks on their faces!'' He quickly replied.
And so, Spring Bonnie and Spring Chica moved out of the dining room.
Once they reached the main hall, they were able to spot the rest of their friends.
It looked like they were all standing in a group, chatting with each other.
The rabbit and chicken proceeded to approach them right away, eager to share their good news.
