I I'm alone arguing with a lot of people about this. They argue that the books are canon in different timelines. But like, precisely because they are different timelines, It already makes the books not canon right?
Continuity = Canon
Different continuities = different Canons
Continuity means timeline
Canon means something else
You described "canon" in the biblical concept, canon in fiction means the same thing as continuity
No it doesnt
I hate to bring up matpat but he explains it in one of his older theory's about fazbear frights
For me only the main séries games are canon Books have their own Timeline.
Literally that's what canon in fiction means, you can't change the meaning of a word
No. The books aren't canon.
