Recently, there's been a huge drama in the community related to Phisnom (developer of the official fangame FNaF+)
Phisnom tweeted talking about how much he didn't like Ruin, and a teenager named Alex disagreed, telling people to retweet it after his fangame releases (implying that it's gonna be bad).
Phisnoms fans, being members of the Internet, did not take this well and started sending death threats and gore/NSFW to Alex.
Alex took this publicly to Phisnom and showed proof that his fans were harassing him and sending him death threats, and what did Phisnom do to stop his fans? Condemn them? Tell them to stop immediately and call them out?
No, he made fun of the whole situation, did absolutely nothing to stop his fans, and didn't apologize to Alex at all. He did things like make several memes about the situation, refuse to tell his fans to stop even when asked, and even sent a rickroll when he was supposed to "apologize".
Throughout this drama, notable members of the FNaF community began publicly condemning and calling out Phisnom while many, many FNaF fans began sending Scott Cawthon emails asking him to remove Phisnom's project from the fanverse.
Only then did he actually apologize, and even then, it was a half hearted attempt at damage control in which he didn't take full responsibility for his actions and blamed the fans and fans only for his mistakes.
Phisnom possibly traumatized and potentially endangered a child when his community began sending them death threats, gore, and his own info and REFUSED to condemn them or even tell his community to stop. He only made fun of the entire situation and did some damage control apologies at the very end.
Email Scott asking for Phisnom to be removed from the Fanverse and call him out wherever you can in the FNaF community. Most of us here have been part of the wider FNaF community as a whole for several years now or even from the beginning. Do we really want a person like Phisnom to represent this community and be an official part of it? Do we really want him to profit from this community?
