I can't find an answer, and most of you assholes are theorist freaks (myself included) so maybe you can help me come up with an answer? :)

*spits out coffee*
You're joking, right?
I believe William's original motive for killing the kids was because of his jealousy toward Henry.
In the books, there were indications that William was spiteful of Henry (like the diaries he wrote in, explained in TSE). Seeing that Henry could bring life into creations. William was a genius in robotics but something about Henry's work seemed more superior than William's. This must have made him kill Henry's daughter Charlotte, the one thing that Henry loved the most. And taking away Charlotte life, it sent Henry into a deep depression. Doing that action made William feel like he had more power over Henry. But William wasn't done with making Henry suffer. In 1985 he killed the 5 children, which then led to the closure of Henry's business. And later on William discovers remnant from the possessed robots and want to become immortal and so on. That's at least what I think is why he started killing the kids in the first place.
Basically he was jealous and killed one kid, and then killed more kids
Yeah
I listen to true crime podcasts
Actually william thought of henry responsible for the death of crying child since henry built the springlock suits he murdered Charlotte for revenge and he starts killing children for remmnant to revive cc
This is a heavily debated theory but I believe he killed the five missing for remnant experiments and Charlie after the crying child’s death to make Henry feel the same pain. I don’t think he intentionally caused the death of his children the way they died but when he found out remnant worked he would have Likely planned out their deaths when they where a bit older to make them immortal. I’m pretty sure he loved his kids
I think Glitchtrap controled him
No he did not
