A young man named Freddy came up with the idea of a pizza place in his basement. He called it Freddy's. In less than a year Freddy had opened the first Freddy'S Pizza. Freddy was a good guy, but his pizza was not the best. It was the kind that had a lot of cheese and sauce. And the crust was so thin that Freddy couldn't get the pizza out of his mouth. So he started to make his own dough. Soon he had a small business and he was able to open Freddy`s Pizza in 1985. But he didn't want his pizz e to be the same as his other pizz*es. That is why he decided to change the name to the Freddy Pizza Company. By 1986 the company started selling the new Freddy pizza. Today, Freddy is one of America` s most popular pizza brands. With over 100 million pizz`es sold each year the brand has a market value of over $1.2 billion.
