Hi! Today I’m happy to announce another update change for the wiki. We’re deciding to migrate the Bot category with the Animatronic category as the primary category for all the robots of the FNaF franchise. After all, the Bots navboxes will get merged with the the Animatronics’, the Robots classification list page will be merged with the Animatronics list page, and renaming the whole page as “Animatronics and Bots'' to include the rest of other bots (excluding Helpy, OMC, PlushBabies, Birthday Gummy, Sea Bonnies, Faz-Goo, and "Kids At Play" Figure). Afterwards, we will rename sub-categories like FNaF1: Animatronics and FNaF2: Animatronics as FNaF1: Bots and so on, but the categories for animatronics and counterparts will remain.
The Vendor Bots page will be deleted completely. While Lemonade Clown and Fruit Punch Clown will stay in one page (titled “Juice Fountain Clowns” and both clowns will be considered as animatronics due to their head resemblance) altogether, Gumball Swivelhands and Prize King are not getting their own pages because both are hardly counted as characters, barely do anything (even though the Prize King has its own little minigame but that still doesn’t matter), can’t speak, and didn’t have their own merch.
There are also some more new update changes:
Infobox: If I found the right theme codes, the infobox will receive a brand-new look.
Citations: To make the pages more reliable and less redundant, we will be using the citations/references more frequently for pages. The Freddy Files guidebooks, while some parts may contain errors, should be the main source to use. There is also an official character encyclopedia book coming up this year so be prepared for more sourcing!
Manual of Style: Our editor’s guide will be given some updates to help make the pages more relevant in quality+content, but I’m not sharing some previews.
Main Page's Navigation Section: It will receive another revamp some other time.
When everything's completed, there will be another wiki update change announcement coming up later... and it’s not gonna be a minor one.
